IIIT Hyderabad PGSSP Admission 2023: Eligibility, Selection, Fee
In addition to all the regular courses, IIIT Hyderabad also offers a part-time Post-Graduate Student Status Programme (PGSSP) programme to the students. The post-graduate status can be given to a professional on the basis of their academic and experience record. Once someone is awarded the PG status, they can take a maximum of two courses at the institute every semester.

Details regarding the total fee, eligibility & selection to IIIT Hyderabad PGSSP programme are as follows:
Total fee: INR 1,09,000 (for two courses) | INR 76,000 (for one course)
Eligibility criteria:
- Must be a resident of Hyderabad and produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC TEMPLATE) from the employer to attend the classes during the office hours
- A UG or PG degree in Engineering/ Technology (BE/ BTech or ME/ MTech), MCA or MSc in Mathematics
NOTE: The fee & eligibility details are for the academic year 2023.
Before taking admission, candidates must know the following:
- Candidates must attend the classes within week days (Mon-Sat)
- Classes for the courses selected will be conducted twice or thrice a week
- Attendance for the classes is mandatory
- The candidates should take a minimum of one subject and a maximum of two subjects in a semester
IIIT Hyderabad PGSSP Application Process 2023
Interested students must apply online by payment of an application fee of INR 2,000. The last date to register for the 2023 batch was Dec 11, 2022 and the physical reporting happened on Dec 31, 2022, for the academic batch of 2023.

The admission procedure at IIIT Hyderabad is completely online and entrance-based for BTech. Admission to BTech at IIIT Hyderabad is done on the basis of a valid score in one among JEE Main/ UGEE/ Olympiad (KVPY) exams. Candidates seeking admission via JEE Main are required to appear for the exam and have a valid score before IIIT Hyderabad application. Candidates seeking admission to M.Tech in Product Design and Management (PDM) are required to have a valid score in GATE/ CEED/ PGEE exam. For all other M.Tech specialisations available at International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad, qualifying PGEE is the minimum requirement. IIIT Hyderabad offers M.Tech across four specialisations, namely CSE, Computer Science & Information Security, Computer-Aided Structural Engineering and Product Design and Management.
