IIIT Sricity Cutoff 2019: Check Category-wise JEE Main Cutoff Ranks
The Indian Institute of Information Technology Sri City cutoff 2019 was released for the General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS and PWD categories. The cutoff was released in the form of opening and closing ranks for BTech courses. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIIT) Sricity has released the JEE Main cutoff for General candidates applied for the Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering courses in 2019. As per the IIIT Sri City 2019 cutoff, Electronics and Communication Engineering cutoffs were higher than those of Computer Science and Engineering for both Round 1 and the Last Round. The first and last round cutoffs for Computer Science and Engineering were 20315 and 25846, respectively. For Electronics and Communication Engineering, the Last Round closing rank was 30072 for the General AII India category students.

For the Other Backward Castes candidates, the first round cutoff lies at 8749 for the Computer Science and Engineering course and the last round cutoff for the same course was 9624. On the other hand, the first and last round cutoffs for Electronics and Communication Engineering were 9304 and 10683, respectively.

During the IIIT Sricity BTech cutoff 2019 for the Schedule Castes (SC) category candidates in the All India category, the first and last round cutoffs were 5450 and 6347, respectively for the Computer Science and Engineering programme. For Electronics and Communication Engineering, the cutoff was comparatively high. This indicates less competition for ECE at IIIT Sricity in 2019 as compared to BTech in CSE.

IIIT Sricity Cutoff 2019 For ST All India Category
Now, if we consider the IIIT Sricity cutoff 2019 for the ST category candidates, we can see that the cutoffs for the ST All India Category were slightly on the lower side than those of the General, OBC, and SC All India Categories. The cutoff for the first round of the CSE course lies at 2948, and for the final round, it is 3594. Similarly, for ECE, the cutoff was 2807 for the first round and 3994 for the last round.

IIIT Sricity Cutoff 2019 For EWS All India Category
As per the IIIT Sricity CSE cutoff 2019, the last round closing rank was 3293 for the Computer Science and Engineering course. The first-round cutoff for the EWS AI category was 2676 for the same BTech specialisation. Similarly, for Electronics and Communication, the first and last round cutoffs were 3075 and 4011, respectively.
IIIT Sri City offers a Full Time PhD as well as a Part-time PhD programme to the candidates.
- Candidates pursuing full time PhD from IIIT Sri City can submit the synopsis only after 24 months from the date of registration, also candidates with Institute Scholarship can leave the Institute for job but only after submission of synopsis.
- Candidates pursuing part-time PhD from IIIT Sri City can submit the synopsis only after 36 months from the date of registration.
- The maximum duration of full time PhD is 6 years and for part-time PhD, the maximum duration is 7 years.
For admission to BTech at IIIT Sri City, the institute generally releases 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs. The cutoffs are released on a rolling basis and the seats are allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:
