Over 58 companies participated in the placements season this year over the span of 150 days and recruited maximum students within this short duration of time. This time university has reported a record number of students grabbing offers with more than Rs 6 lakh per annum and early joining.

JECRC Reports Successful Placements With Maximum Students Receiving At Least Rs 6 LPA

January 21, 2021: Amid the global pandemic situations due to Coronavirus and the economical crisis, Jaipur based JECRC University has reported successful placements of over 1,636 students across all courses. Over 58 companies participated in the placements season this year over the span of 150 days and recruited maximum students within this short duration of time. This time university has reported a record number of students grabbing offers with more than Rs 6 lakh per annum and early joining.

The University has a dedicated placements department that works throughout the year in strengthening corporate relationships and bringing challenging opportunities aboard. Given the growing interest of students in technology-related fields and the ever-changing work market, the university has established engaging opportunities and ties in the placement programme with alumni and recruitment partners.

JECRC Reports Over 1,100 Successful Placements During the Covid-19 Pandemic

November 19, 2020: JECRC University has rolled out its step 1 of the 2020-2021 placement season, where it has again set a record of more than 1,100 placements and has become the only educational institution around the country to make and break those records, hence, establishing a character for performance. Having it done in these rough times of the economic downturn caused by the outbreak of Covid-19 when many firms are withdrawing their work offers, but this year, in only the first 75 days of the placement season, a total of 1,131 students from the JECRC Foundation received their offer letters from 21 companies. Every year, JECRC forms the legacy of education as a result of major corporations such as TCS, Accenture, Hexaware Technology, Chegg and L&T Infotech placing their faith in their talented and meritorious students.

JECRC helps students secure their dream job, discovers innovative career opportunities and push ahead in new markets by setting high expectations for a lifetime of the learning experience.

With competitive on-campus offers, dream-profiled placements and an immersive global reach, young JECRC students are on their way to huge job possibilities and success stories. So we might assume that industries are now open, and everybody is putting their trust in a new standard. It's just the beginning of the immersion of Jaipur's talents, and this beginning has been like a fantasy come true.

75 Days, 72 Companies, 1451 Placements

November 4, 2019: JECRC University Foundation recently conducted a 75-day long placement drive. The successful drive saw over 72 companies making a visit to the campus and over 1450 students being offered a placement. Some of Fortune 500 companies that participated in the drive included Accenture, TCS, Capgemini, Deloitte, E&Y, MTX, Mindtree, Birlasoft, Metacube, BYJU's, Pinnacle and ZS Associates through exclusive campus drives in just the first 75 days of the placement season. Among the offers floated, 35 per cent were given to female students of the campus.

JECRC and University of California Riverside ink MoU to facilitate global exposure to students

September 2, 2019: JECRC University has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the Student Exchange Program with the University of California Riverside (UCR). After completing three years of study at JECRC University, students will study for a year at the University of California Riverside under this agreement. Students will also earn an Advance Certificate from UCR upon effective graduation from JECRC. Joint research projects and post-graduate and doctoral programmes at UCR shall benefit the JU students more.

JECRC hosts Smart India hackathon’19

March 2, 2019: JECRC hosted Smart India Hackathon, the world's largest technology platform, inaugurated by Union Minister of Human Resource Development Prakash Javadekar. Over 30 groups with 228 members will seek technological solutions for the Ministry of Culture and Power together with two corporate houses, Tata Motors and Hero Electric Vehicles at the event.

Yes, JECRC University refund hostel fees to candidates withdrawing admission. It has a five tier system in place for the fee refund. Candidates who are Class 12 pass from a recognised board with a minimum of 60% aggregate in all subjects can apply for BDes at JECRC University. The documents as a proof of eligibility also have to be submitted. For admission, the students have to pass the selection rounds as well.

JECRC University BDes 2026 registrations are open. Candidates who meet eligibility criteria can visit the website to register and apply. The application fee for the UG course is INR 1,000. For offline applications, admission office can be contacted.

Candidates withdrawing admission from JECRC University BDes course can submit an application for the same. The form has to be submitted in person along with original copy of the fee deposit receipt. JECRC refund fees to the applicants as per UGC guidelines for 2026-27 session.

The latest ranking data is not out for JECRC University in the Design category. However, in 2025, the university was ranked #21 by The Week for its Design programme. The university is ranked by different bodies in the "overall category" as well.

Yes, there are three exit options in the JECRC BDes Interior Design course. Candidates can opt out after first year and obtain one year certificate in Interior Design. The students exiting after the second year can get UG Diploma. A BDes UG degree is awarded after completion of three years.

JECRC University accept applications of the eligible students only. These candidated are then directly invited for personal interview, portfolio presentation, and situation test. Students who pass these selection rounds have to report for physical counselling at the university in person.
