Scope of Physiotherapy:

A physiotherapy student has an option to pursue higher education after BPT and can also specialize in the field of physiotherapy after doing Masters.  BPT graduates are also eligible for courses like hospital administration, business management, public health management & various other postgraduate programs.

Physiotherapists carry out work in areas such as gross motor development, postural management, hydrotherapy, orthotic assessment and monitoring, sensory integration, respiratory conditions and orthopaedic issues.

The job of a Physiotherapist has the qualities of a professional; who works as preventive, restorative and rehabilitative as well as is an instructor in a health or wellness centre.

More than 10 years of experience in Academics, Clinical Quality Management and Operations and Training with prior exposure to multiple settings including acute care at clinic and home care. Licensed Physical Therapist with Masters In Physical Therapy, Certified Manual Therapist and Diabetic Educator by Project HOPE. Keen areas of interest includes Biomechanics, Virtual Reality Rehabilitation and Recent Advances in Rehabilitation.

Trained in recent trends in Physical Therapy like Cupping Therapy, Dry needling and Taping.

Successfully guided and Supervised to Various Projects and Researches for UG and PG Physiotherapy students under various branches like Neurology, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Sports Physiotherapy, Strength and conditioning etc. Presented Papers and Posters at various National and International Conferences like AIIMS INCPT, GUJCOST and many more.

2. Rahul (PT): BPT, MPT (Sports)

Masters in Physiotherapy with specialization in sports and 3 years of experience into Clinical and Academic practice.

3. Aatika Waheed (PT): BPT, MPT (Neurology)

With 3 years of experience into academics, and keen interest in teaching, brings innovation to the department. Masters in Physiotherapy with specialization in Neurology.

Trained in recent trends like Neuro-dynamic Techniques, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Thera-band Techniques.
