Kurukshetra University was established in 1956 by the Late Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. Kurukshetra University follows a semester system, namely odd semester and an even semester. The university releases the UG and PG KUK results separately. Kurukshetra University conducts counselling every year after the release of the merit lists. The candidates shortlisted as per the Kurukshetra University merit list 2023 have to attend counselling, to get admission to the university.
After counselling the candidates get provisionally admitted for the particular programme. For admission confirmation, the shortlisted candidates need to submit the admission fees through challan or online mode within the specified period of time.
The MCC conducts the centralised NEET UG Counselling round-wise. Every year, the MCC releases the round-wise Seat Allotment results for Round 1, 2, Mop-Up Round and Stray Vacancy Round. Only candidates with a NEET UG scores are allowed to be a part of NEET UG Counselling. Candidates clearing the NEET cutoff are allotted a seat in the medical or dental colleges. The courses offered through NEET UG scores are MBBS- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery across the medical and dental colleges.
