Q: How are you preparing your students to be Industry ready?

A: The career counselling sessions and placement workshops are regularly organised in the institution to bring clarity about the job roles and expectations of the industry. Faculty mentors help students to prepare for the placement process through mock GD and Interviews. The regular interaction with the Alumni also helps them to prepare for various job roles.

Q: What quality do your students have which other college students lack?

A: Our students have the domain knowledge of Insurance Banking & Actuarial Science which is lacking among the graduands of various other colleges. As the BFSI sector has vast job openings, our students have an edge over others as they have specialised domain knowledge for the specific job roles in the industry.  We also motivate our students to clear the Professional Examinations of Insurance Institute of India Mumbai, Charted Insurance Institute London, The Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI), NISM, IIBF, NCFM etc. which would not be available with other institutions.

Q: Do you think the curriculum of the courses taught in your institute fits in the requirement of the industry?

A: Our curriculum is aligned as per the Industry 4.0 requirements where the topics like Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Machine Learning, IoT, and Robotics have been incorporated in the curriculum. The Industry provides the valuable feedback at the time of curriculum development which helps us in keeping our curriculum as per the industry requirements.

Q: Is your college receptive to innovation, technology, science & entrepreneurship?

A: Our institution is always open and responsive to new ideas, technology and innovations which reflects in our practices. We also encourage our students to start their own ventures and expand their existing businesses. Entrepreneurship cell and incubation centers are available in the institution which helps our students in creating their own ventures.
