Documents to Carry at CUET Exam Centre 2026
Registered candidates appearing for the CUET 2026 exam will have to bring some important documents with them to the examination hall. According to the National Testing Agency, the following are the required documents, a candidate must carry to the CUET 2026 exam centre:
1. CUET 2026 Admit Card (soft copy is not allowed)
2. Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA website (hard copy on A4 size paper)
3. Passport-size photograph (same as one uploaded on the application form)
4. Any of the following authorized photo IDs:
- School Identity Card
- PAN Card
- Passport
- Aadhaar Card/E-Aadhaar (with photograph)
- Class 12 Board Admit Card (with photograph)
- Bank Passbook (with photograph)
5. PwD/PwDB certificate (if claiming)

CUET UG 2026 Exam Day Important Guidelines
Even if a candidate prepares well for the exam, his/her hard work can go to waste if they do not follow the guidelines set by the National Testing Agency for the exam day. Below are some of the important CUET 2026 exam day guidelines, candidates have to follow:
- Candidates must arrive 90 minutes before the exam starts to complete necessary formalities.
- Candidates must cooperate with the authorities during the frisking process before entering the exam room.
- No entry will be given to candidates who arrive after the gate closing time. So, leave early to avoid traffic.
- Candidates must take their assigned seats only.
- Verify that the question paper matches the subject you have opted for. If it is different, report it to the invigilator.
- Carry a printed admit card and a valid photo ID (original and non-expired).
- NTA will not reschedule the exam for any candidate who misses the test. So, reach the exam centre before the closing of the gates.
- Do not bring prohibited items like calculators, electronic gadgets, logarithm tables, and stationery items other than a ballpoint pen.
- Carry a transparent bottle and a ballpoint pen.
Note: Perform all calculations and writing tasks on the rough sheets provided in the examination hall and return the rough sheets to the invigilator before leaving the room to ensure compliance with the rules.
CUET 2026 Exam Day Dress Code
Candidates must follow the CUET dress code mentioned below to appear for the exam:
- Heavy clothes with long sleeves are not allowed.
- In case of cultural/customary dress, report at the centre at least one hour before the exam begins.
- Shoes are not allowed. Wear slippers and sandals with low heels.
