The National Testing Agency is conducting Common University Entrance Test for admission to undergraduate and some integrated courses at participating central, state, private, government, or deemed universities/colleges. For admission cycle 2026-27, the exam is being conducted across 321 exam centres in 13 mediums on multiple days.

CUET UG 2026 Reporting Time
Candidates are advised to reach their allotted CUET exam centre at least 2 hours before the exam. The National Testing Agency also officially specifies the reporting time and gate closing time on a candidate's admit card. According to last year, the reporting time for morning shift is 7 AM and for evening shift is 1 PM. All examination centres close their entry gate 30 minutes before the exam time.
To avoid the last-minute rush and hassle, candidates should reach the centre according to reporting time as they have to get their frisking and other formalities done before exam starts and these things may take time.

CUET exam centre is allocated on the basis of the preferences entered by the candidate while filling the CUET application form. NTA allocates an exam centre as per the preference entered and is subject to availability and logistical considerations.
While filling the CUET application form, candidates can select four cities of their choice. Choice of CUET exam centre cities will be limited to the State of permanent address or State of present address only. In case there are very few candidates from a city, the NTA reserves the right to merge one, two, or more cities.
CUET 2026 exam was held till June 6 ,2026 in computer based mode over a month window. The exam will be held across more than 300 exam cities in India. Candidates will be able to know the alloted exam centre on issuance of CUET intimation slip or CUET admit card.
As per the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment guidelines, PwD candidates will be provided with following facilities:
- Scribe facility: In case the candidate has physical limitation and required a scribe for writing the exam, he/she must be certified in the format provided by CMO/Civil Surgeon/ Medical Superintendent of a Government Health Care Institution.
- Extra time: PwD candidates will get extra time of one hour whether such candidates use scribe facilities or not.

Documents to Carry at CUET Exam Centre 2026
Registered candidates appearing for the CUET 2026 exam will have to bring some important documents. According to the National Testing Agency, the following are the required documents, a candidate must carry to the CUET 2026 exam centre:
1. CUET 2026 Admit Card (soft copy is not allowed)
2. Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA website (hard copy on A4 size paper)
3. Passport-size photograph (same as one uploaded on the application form)
4. Any of the following authorized photo IDs:
- School Identity Card
- PAN Card
- Passport
- Aadhaar Card/E-Aadhaar (with photograph)

CUET UG 2026 Exam - Important Guidelines
Even if a candidate prepares well for the exam, his/her hard work can go to waste if they do not follow the exam day guidelines set by the National Testing Agency. Students have to follow the below important CUET 2026 exam day guidelines:
- Candidates must arrive at CUET exam centre 90 minutes before the exam starts.
- Candidates must cooperate with the authorities during the frisking process.
- No entry will be given to candidates who arrive after the gate closing time. So, leave early to avoid traffic.
- Candidates must take their assigned seats only.
- Verify that the question paper matches the subject you have opted for. If it is different, report it to the invigilator.
- Carry a printed admit card and a valid photo ID (original and non-expired).
- NTA will not reschedule the exam for any candidate who misses the test. So, reach the exam centre before the closing of the gates.
- Do not bring prohibited items.
- Carry a transparent bottle and a ballpoint pen.
Note: Perform all calculations and writing tasks on the rough sheets provided in the examination hall and return the rough sheets to the invigilator before leaving the room to ensure compliance with the rules.
