What makes Parul University a top choice for MBA courses?

Q: What is the admission process for MBA programme in Parul University?

A: The candidate must be a graduate with minimum of 50 per cent aggregate (45 per cent marks in case of reserved category candidates). Must have appeared in any of the entrance tests approved by AICTE such as MAT, CAT, GCET and CMAT.

Q: What are the different specialisation options available to students?

A: We offer specialisations to students considering the demand and trend in industry. Our students have option to choose specialisation from HR, Marketing, Finance, IB, IT, Big Data Analysis, Entrepreneurship/Family Business, Event Management, Health Care Management, Pharmaceutical Management, Agribusiness Management, Tourism, Operations Management, Customs and Logistics, Imports & Exports, Tourism Management, Business Analytics.

Q: What is the total cost of programme? Do you also offer hostel facility?

A: The fee for the programme is Rs 90,000 per annum. We also offer hostel facility that has separate accommodations for boys and girls students. The hostel fee varies between Rs 66,000 per annum to Rs 1,08,000 per annum basis room occupancy, facilities and A/C & non-A/C rooms.

University also assists students in education loans. As we are University Grants Commission (UGC) accredited, all national banks easily offer loans to students. We help students with all the documentation required in loan process.

Q: Is there any distance learning option for working professionals?

A: For working professionals, we offer WIMBA programme. The classes are held on Sundays.

Q: Can you share some insights on placements?

A: We have a dedicated in-house placement cell offering complete placement assistance. Companies such as Fastrack, ICICI, Standard Chartered, Vodafone, Godrej, Times of India, 99acres.com, AEGON, Ashok Leyland, Asian Paints, Bajaj Allianz, Indusind bank, Just Dial, Aditya Birla, Naukri.com and Quikr actively participate in placement season.

The highest package that has been offered so far is Rs 12 lakh while the average is Rs 6 lakh.

Q: What are initiatives university is taking to ensure quality placements to students?

A: The Objective of the placement cell is to facilitate the process of placement and ensure that each eligible student gets an opportunity in the industries.

• Requisite emphasis is given for soft skills development complementing the regular academic programmes. Aptitude tests, Group Discussions, Job oriented courses and special training programs are regularly conducted.
• Guest lectures are organised regularly and visiting faculty members are invited from renowned institutes for training students and faculty members as well.
• The college is in the process of signing MOUs with many industrial organisations and industrial chambers.
