BMM or Bachelor of Mass Media is an undergraduate course of three-year duration. The study of BMM includes subject areas such as Mass Media like magazines, TV, radio, films, cinema etc. The BMM course is designed in a way that provides knowledge about various fields of journalism. The study involves various concepts such as internet marketing, mass media, public relations, social media marketing etc.

Types of BMM Courses

BMM is a three-year humanities course which consists of six semesters of six-month duration. The course of BMM is divided mainly into two parts core and optional subjects. The entire syllabus of BMM mainly focuses on various areas of subjects like radio broadcasting ethics and techniques, print media, social media, television, marketing process and media research techniques.

A diploma in BMM courses is also available for candidates. The duration of these courses can be 6 months to 1 year. Courses in BMM Diploma courses are designed in such a way that they cover the complete course in the given duration. Candidates with 10+2 pass certificate or bachelor's degree, or even postgraduation degree can apply for diploma courses in BMM.

The category you belong to and the course you have chosen would decide the minimum percentile needed.

For the General AI category candidates, the minimum percentile was 40 in round 2. For the OBC, SC, ST, EWS and PWD AI categories, the minimum percentile was also 40 in the same round.
