JMI CUET 2025
JMI CUET 2025: Jamia Millia Islamia accepts CUET scores for admissions to various UG, PG and diploma programmes offered by them. CUET-UG 2025 applications were open from March 1 to 22, 2025. Applicants were able to correct their CUET-UG applications from March 24 to 26, 2025. CUET-UG 2025 is to be conducted from May 13 to June 6, 2025. The city intimation slip for it is out now. NTA has also announced the CUET-PG 2025 results on May 6, 2025. NTA opened CUET-PG 2025 applications on January 2, 2025, until February 8, 2025. CUET-PG was conducted from March 13 to April 1, 2025. The provisional answer key for CUET-PG was released on the NTA CUET PG website on April 22, 2025. Candidates could make challenges against it until April 24, 2025. In this article, we will discuss the important CUET dates for JMI admissions, the courses for which JMI aspirants need to take CUET and the JMI Entrance Exam 2025 (for courses other than those under CUET). Jamia Millia Islamia conducts the university-level entrance exam to offer admission to shortlisted candidates into various UG & PG courses under specifications such as Engineering and Technology, Law, Teaching and Education, Social Sciences, Humanities, and languages. Jamia Millia Islamia will announce the JMI Entrance Exam 2024 result on the official website. JMI will also inform candidates who had appeared for the exam through SMS on their registered mobine number. Various media portals and social media platforms will announce the declaration of results. Test takers must keep a check on the official websites as well as opt for notifications or alerts at the news and social media platforms to get instantly notified about the declaration of JMI Entrance Exam result.
Q: Will the result of JMI Entrance Exam for each course be released on the same day?

No. The result of JMI Entrance Exam will be released on the basis of the level of programme. Usually results for M.Phil and Ph.D. programmes are released later, as the admission process for such programmes is different as compared to other ones like undergraduate and postgraduate. Moreover, the JMI Entrance Exam Result is released separately for each course. In some courses interview is also conducted after the written test while for some courses candidates have to appear for counseling based on the cut off released by the university. No, Jamia Millia Islamia does not send the JMI Entrance Exam result by post to any candidate. The result has to be viewed online from the official website of JMI Exam. Candidates must check their scores and take a printout of the result till the admission process is complete. The JMI Entrance Exam result is declared in the form of merit list which contains the candidate's individual score and the cut off for every category. Candidates meeting the cut off will be called for counselling or interview (if required).

The result of JMI Entrance Exam is announced at the official website of controller of examination of Jamia Millia Islamia. Candidates who appear for the JMI Entrance Exam can download their scorecards from the official website. To check the JMI 2023 entrance exam results, click on Admission Result tab. Q: What is the validity of the JMI Entrance Exam scores?

JMI Entrance Exam scores are valid for admission in the current academic session only. The result of JMI Entrance Exam 2024 cannot be carried forward for admission in 2025-26 academic session. Therefore, if a candidate fails to qualify in the JMI Entrance Exam 2024 or is unable to take admission in that academic year, he/she will have to appear for JMI Entrance Exam in the next year and take admission. After one year, JMI exam marks will be just another document or record to prove the appearance in the written test.
Step 1 - Register by entering personal information like name, parents’ names, DOB, gender, nationality, ID, address, and contact details (email and phone). In this step, applicants must also choose a password and set up a security question and answer. An application number will be generated that will be used for future logins, along with the password created by the applicants.
Step 2 - Log in again and go on to fill out the application form. Provide information like category, category certificates, parents’ occupation and qualifications, annual family income, domicile, educational qualifications, choice of exam cities, and other quota details (PwD, BPL, Ex-Servicemen, etc.).
Step 3 - Upload scanned images of your photograph and signature. The format must be JPG/ JPEG. The size for the photograph must be 10 KB to 200 KB, and that of the signature must be 4 KB to 30 KB.
Step 4 - Pay your application fee using net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI. The revised application fee is provided in the table below.

JMI Admission Process after CUET
Once aspirants have applied and appeared for CUET, they must fill out the JMI admission form on the institute's website, admission.jmi.ac.in. They must mention their CUET application number in this form. Once the CUET results are declared, shortlisted candidates will undergo a counselling and document verification process conducted by JMI. Based on these processes, examinees will be allotted seats to their chosen programmes.
