Aspiring students who fulfil the Jamia Milia Islamia eligibility criteria for their desired programmes must follow the process mentioned below to generate their JMI login credentials.
- Visit the official website - admission.jmi.ac.in.
- Click on Click here to apply for admission in UG/PG/DIP/ADP/PGD/CER for the Session of 2026-27
- Now click on New User Registration, fill in the required details, and submit.
- You will receive an OTP on your phone number to activate your login.
- Set your login password, and your credentials are ready (registered email and the created password).

On successful registration and submission of the application form, candidates will receive an email with a unique code with a link to verify the email, login ID (registered email), and password creation/ resetting options.

How to Retrieve User ID -
Candidates can open their registered email ID mailbox and search for the exam name to find the User ID, which would have been sent by the university along with the confirmation of registration at the time of first registration. This way, they will be able to find their user ID.
Note: If any candidate cannot find the User ID or faces any problem logging in, he/she should contact the admission helpline immediately.
Candidates who wish to submit the application form of JMI entrance exam 2026 will have to pay the application fee for successfull submission. The application form fee is INR 1000/700 for different courses (non refundable).
The application fee for programmes offered at AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Center for Management Studies, Center for Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences, Faculty of Architecture and Ekistics (except B.Arch) Faculty of Education, Faculty of Engineering and Technology (except B.Tech), Faculty of Dentistry and Faculty of Law is INR 1000 and for the programmes offered at other faculty members/Centers and for B.Arch and B.Tech is INR 700. Candidates have to pay the application fee online via debit card, credit card, or net banking.
The JMI application fee will be refunded only if the transaction has failed. If a candidate successfully pays the fee, no refund will be given. So, students must check the eligibility criteria, application form, etc. before filling JMI application form.
