B.Tech Colleges accepting CUET in Pune

From CUET UG 2026 onwards, candidates can now choose for five CUET subjects. Earlier, the subject choices were six. With the rediuction in number of CUET subjects, the choices have been reduced. Candidates can opt for five subjects from 23 domain subjects of any stream irrespective of subjects studied in class 12th. 

CUET stands for Common University Entrance Test. It is a national level entrance test conducted by National Testing Agency for UG and PG programs. It is a single window examination for admission to universities in India. It is a single window examination for students to apply to multiple universities across India. This examination is compulsory for admission to all central universities in India.

The difficulty level of the CUET exam varies between moderate and tough. Since the CUET UG exam is held for multiple subjects and slots, the difficulty level of the exam varies from subject to subject. Sometimes, the difficulty level may also vary for different slots. While for the well-prepared candidates, the difficulty level will be low, for the underprepared students, the level of difficulty will be on the higher side.

The university shortlists candidates for BTech course based on the merit in last qualifying exam. After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university.

To apply for scholarship at Symbiosis Skills and Professional University, each candidate is required to make separate application for scholarships under merit category" or "other category" scheme for each programme of the University. Secondly, candidate should apply online on sspu.ac.in for scholarship. For continuation of scholarship, students need to apply before commencement of new academic year, with the result of previous academic year.
