Yes, SC/ST candidates get concessions in registration fees, and age relaxation is provided for OBC and SC/ST categories students. Reservations include 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC (non-creamy layer), and 10% for General-EWS. IMU also has a special state reservation scheme 

For NCC cadet students, they can get mark concessions: 5% for the 'C' certificate, 3% for the 'B' certificate, and 2% for the 'A' certificate

Q:   Can I submit The Neotia University BTech admission fee in cash?

No, The Neotia University does not accept cash payment during any stage of the BTech admission process. During the admission process, applicants are required to pay the application fee (non-refundable), provisional admission fee, one-time fee and the remaining amount of the first-semester fee (after adjusting the provisional admission fee). All these fees must be paid using online payment modes, such as NEFT, UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card, etc. Applicants are required to pay the following fees during the admission process:

  • Application Fee - INR 300
  • Provisional Admission Fee - INR 20,000
  • One-time Fee - INR 29,000 (INR 82,000 for BTech in Marine Engineering)
  • Remaining amount of the first-semester tuition fee ranging from INR 65,000 to INR 1.62 lakh. The exact amount depends on the choice of specialisation
