Yes, IIT Kanpur also offers an option of a dual degree, i.e., Bachelors-Masters Dual Degree to the students. A student earns both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree at the end of this five-year course. The dual degree programme has three categories:

• Category A: In this case, both degrees are in the same discipline/department. Example: BTech-M Tech.
• Category B: This is a two-discipline/ department programme where the bachelor’s degree is in the parent discipline/ department and the master’s degree is in a different discipline/ department. Thus, three combinations are possible in this category, ex: BTech-M Tech, BTech-MS and BTech-MDes. Students can choose any one of the aforementioned combinations. 
• Category C: In this case, the bachelor’s degree is in the parent discipline/ department and the master’s degree is MBA. Ex: BTech-MBA.

IIT Varanasi BTech admission is based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Students qualify Class 12 from the recognised board with 75% marks for general category and 65% marks for SC/ ST. PwD candidates. 

For Amity University Noida BTech admissions, the non-sponsored category requires a 60% aggregate score in Class 12. Aspirants must clear their Class 12 exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology as main subjects.  

MMMUT Gorakhpur has concluded the spot round for admission to BTech LE courses. As per the notice released by the university, The last date for physical verification was Aug, 2025. 

Candidates need to pass a minimum of Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject from a recognised board with at least 75% aggregate is required to apply for the MNNIT Allahabad BTech programme. Besides, MNNIT Allahabad accepts admission to BTech based on a valid score of JEE Main, followed by a centralised counselling body, i.e.,  JoSAA Counselling. The seat allotment process is based on the college cutoff and the candidate's preference for courses and colleges. For the selection of candidates for vacant seats, the college also accepts admission through CSAB Counselling.

RGIPT does provide merit-cum-means scholarships to the BTech programme students. RGIPT BTech scholarships also include several endowment scholarships. Students who are pursuing the BTech programme can avail various scholarships offered by the University, Central and State Governments. Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida, BTech admission is conducted in three different modes. To get admission in the BTech course, candidates can choose any one admission procedure as per their qualification. There are three admission modes:

Direct mode: Candidates are offered direct admission based on their score in the Class 12 exam. Candidates must score 75% marks or equivalent, in aggregate in three subjects, i.e., Mathematics, Physics, and English. This may apply and can be confirmed with the institute.
