Good placements, good infrastructure, excellent college crowd (seniors and faculty). .
Placements: Around 80 to 95 percent of students are placed in the Electronics and Telecommunication branch at SPIT. The highest package went to around 61 LPA, and the lowest package is around 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Accenture, Amdocs and Barclays. The internship acceptance rate is around 10-12 percent.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for the course are pretty good, and cleanliness is well maintained throughout the college. The college does not provide a hostel but the quality of food in the mess and canteen is good, and the taste is fine.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and cooperative, except for some teachers, who are not sure about their knowledge in their respective subjects. The course curriculum is relevant, providing students with the knowledge and experience needed. The difficulty of exams is good.
Other: Excellent technical college. The events in the college are great.

Focus on in-demand skills, projects, internships, soft skills, and networking for career growth.
Placements: The average package has been dropped, and this year (2025), it has dropped again as compared to the previous year. My seniors also told that you can't be dependent on the college; you have to work on your skills because there's a lot of competition in the market as well.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is decent, and there's no hostel for spite students. The hostel is only for their MBA program students (SPJIMR) and for (SPACE) students. The entire campus has a lot of space, and it’s a very huge campus. There's a lake inside the college, 2-3 grounds, and many things.
Faculty: The faculty here are nice; some are very strict and some are very chill, so yes, they are good. They also help a lot, and the exams here are moderate to a bit harder, but yes, compared to other autonomous colleges, they are not very difficult, and they can be managed.
Other: The college is good, but you can't be dependent on the college. You have to work on yourself by learning new skills because the average package of the college has been decreasing from previous years, and this year it has decreased again. Many EXTC students are unplaced, so work on your skills.

All about Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, Mumbai.
Placements: The college offers best placements for students. The college has 100% placement policy. The highest package of 2022 was 110 LPA CTC from Amazon London, offered to one student. The average CTC is 18 LPA. Top recruiting companies are PhonePe, JPMC, Morgan Stanley and many more.
Infrastructure: SPIT doesn't provide hostel services and you can opt for PGs at a nearby college in Andheri. The college does offer mess for students at a minimum cost and clean, tasty mess food. Sardar Patel College of Engineering has a hostel, which is on the same campus.
Faculty: Faculty members at SPIT are well educated and hold good degrees. The teaching staff is very nice. Even the office staff is nice. The library and lab staff are very coordinated and helpful. The exams are a bit tougher than those at other colleges. Pass percentage depends on everyone; it's just like the percentile.
Other: I chose EXTC since the semiconductor industry is booming quite rapidly and EXTC as a whole is a nice course that offers both hardware and software skills.

The review of Sardar Patel Institute of technology.
Placements: Almost 100 percent of the registered students were placed in the academic year 2023–24. The highest package was 61 LPA, and the average package was 15 LPA. The famous companies that visited the college include PhonePe, JPMC, Deloitte, and Deustche Bank.
Infrastructure: The college has a huge library, which is well maintained and has almost all the books one needs. All the classrooms and labs are well maintained and air-conditioned. The Wi-Fi is present in all the labs, and it has pretty good speed. One drawback of the college is that it does not have a hostel.
Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified and have immense experience in teaching the students. The teachers are very knowledgeable. The course curriculum is very well organized and is on par with industry standards. Since the college is autonomous, it designs its own syllabus, and the syllabus teaches very useful skills to the students. Semester exams are at a difficult level.
Other: I chose this course because I had an interest in the field. There are many clubs present at the college that organise various events. The clubs include E-cell and CSI. But the best event of the year is the cultural festival, also known as Oculus, which is organised in Feb and March. The sports festival, or Spoorthi, is organized in the same month.

Average faculty, poor infrastructure, but good placements .
Placements: There are 0 core companies visiting the college, so the only option for EXTC students is to either get placed in a low-paying technical job because all the high placement jobs are given to CE and CSE students, or get placed in a non-teaching company, which gives an average CTC of INR 7-8 LPA.
Infrastructure: Poor infrastructure. Washrooms are just better than public and municipal washrooms. The college doesn't have their own canteen; they don't have their own hostel; and SPIT students are not allowed in the SPCE hostel. So the only option left is to live in PGs available near colleges or private hostels.
Faculty: Since the college is an autonomous institution, the curriculum is pretty good. The course also includes a minor degree in CS or management. The only problem is that some of the faculty members are too troublesome for the students. Though the faculty is highly qualified, some teachers still make misogynistic comments in class. Scoring is very tough in college but getting a CGPA of 8 is pretty easy due to the relatively easy grading system.
Other: The college committees are very good, especially the E-cell, which is the Entrepreneurship Cell of SPIT, Oculus, the annual fest committee, etc. Therefore, there are too many extracurricular activities.

It's the best you can get amongst other available options.
Placements: The percentage of placements pre-covid has always been above 95% but now, due to layoffs and the economic meltdown, even the placements are facing the brunt of it. Its getting harder to get recruiters on board and the final-year students, especially from EXTC, are finding it difficult to get placements.
Infrastructure: Lab culture is very good, although the college doesn't provide hostels. Also, the canteen is missing so you would have to go to the SPEC canteen or the SPJIMR mess/canteen. You have exposure to other extracurricular things except courses, which helps in overall development and has a good alumni network.
Faculty: Some teachers are good and approachable and the rest are just pure professors. The curriculum is well designed and industry-ready. You get a lot of options to select the subjects you want to study. There is a relatively strict grading system followed by its autonomous college.

Our college provides good placements every year and has a great campus.
Placements: Placements at our college are the best in Mumbai. Almost 95% of students got placements and internship opportunities. The highest salary package offered this year is 36.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 7.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are JP Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, L&T, Barclays, Deutsche Bank, TCS, MSCI, etc. Top roles offered are software development engineer, data analyst, app and web developer, data engineer, embedded and systems engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are a bit old. The campus is very beautiful and clean. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms are huge and air-conditioned. The library has a wide variety of books covering every spectrum of the course. Our college has three messes and canteens, and the quality of the food is good. Medical facilities, sports, and games are available in our college. Our college has its cricket and football ground, volleyball and basketball court, indoor game area for table tennis, etc. The hostel facility is not available for SPIT students.
Faculty: All teachers are post-graduates from top IITs and are highly knowledgeable and helpful. Their teaching quality is above average. The course curriculum is well-designed to match industry requirements and is up-to-date. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 33%.

I am satisfied due to faculty, placements, and crowd.
Placements: Almost more than 95% of students were placed, remaining students went for higher education. The average salary package is more than 5 LPA. It's one of the top colleges in Mumbai. Companies like Microsoft, TCS, Wipro, L&T, and many tech elite companies visit campus. Placement is the quality of this college.
Infrastructure: The college has free Wi-Fi access. It has a large collection of books and a better place for extracurricular activities. College also includes gymkhana with carrom and table tennis. It also has a basketball court and a big ground to play any game. Mess contains thali at Rs.80 only. The quality of food is more than average. Classrooms have air-conditioners and also projectors installed. The campus is huge. It includes a lake, Shiv temple, greenery with benches to sit, and also sometimes you may find peacocks roaming around the campus.
Faculty: Exams can be passed by studying the previous year's question papers. If you pay attention in class then there is no chance for you to fail. The passing percentage is 40%. The course curriculum is different as it is an autonomous college. The semester consists of ISE and ESE. Sometimes, MSE may also be taken.
Other: Faculty members are the best. I wish one day everything related to course shift totally to a practical manner.
