Humanities is one of the important streams in Class 12 board exams. The main subjects of Humanities are History, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, etc. The students need to know the exam pattern to get an overview of the important topics, duration of the exam, marks distribution and so on.
To prepare for HBSE Class 12 Humanities examination, students should practise previous year question papers besides solving mock test papers regularly with the focus on completing the paper within the prescribed time-limit. BSEH 12th Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme for Humanities
According to HBSE 12th exam pattern, the duration of exams is three hours. First 15 minutes are given to students to go through the question paper. The total marks allocated for the examination is 100 — 80 marks for theory paper and 20 marks for the practical assessment except Geography for which there are 60 marks for theory and 40 for practical/internal assessment.
