The syllabus of HBSE 12th Biology includes 16 units such as Reproduction in Organism, Human Reproduction, Molecular Basis of Inheritance and so on. According to the HBSE 12th exam pattern, the duration for HBSE Class 12 Biology exam is three hours. The total marks allocated for the examination is 100 — 70 marks for theory paper and 30 marks for the practical assessment.

HBSE 12th Preparation Tips for Biology Exam
The students should devise an organised plan and follow the right preparation tips to cover all the topics and secure a high score in the board exam. Here are some of the important tips to prepare for HBSE Class 12 Biology exam:
- Know exam pattern – The students need to get acquainted with the examination pattern. This not only will help the student in understanding the question pattern but also make them understand major topics and their marks allotment in the examination.
- Create a schedule – Formulating a schedule is a very important part of the preparation process. Before starting the preparation, the students should formulate an organised schedule and allot equal time to all the topics to complete the syllabus on time.
- Complete the syllabus – The syllabus of Biology is vast, therefore, the students must focus on covering each topic of the syllabus. Completing the entire syllabus on time is important, as this will leave ample time to revise the topics thoroughly.
- Be thorough with diagrams and terminologies – Biology involves the study of numerous diagrams and terminologies.
