RBSE 12th Biology Sample Paper 2026-27: Overview
RBSE conducts Class 12 board exams every year. Biology is a core subject for students in the PCB group (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), which most students pick if they're aiming for medical or biology-related careers. It has both a theory paper and a practical exam. Before you start studying, check the official RBSE 12th Syllabus. This makes sure you are studying the right topics for this year. Also read your NCERT book and the RBSE 12th Books carefully Here's a quick overview:

Practical exams are usually held a few weeks before the theory paper, so students get separate marks for both. Since Biology carries a good number of diagram-based and definition-based questions, regular revision through the year helps more than last-minute cramming.
Why Solving the Sample Paper Helps?
Solving the sample paper regularly gives you these benefits:
● You get a real idea of how questions are asked.
● You can spot topics that come up again and again.
● Solving it with a timer helps you manage time on exam day.
● It shows you how much each part of the paper is worth.

Question Types in RBSE 12th Biology Paper
Based on last year's question paper, the Biology theory paper is split into four sections with different question styles:
● Section A: Multiple choice, fill in the blanks, and one-word or one-line answers.
● Section B: Short answer questions, usually answered in about 50 words.
● Section C: Long answer questions, usually answered in about 100 words, with an internal choice.
● Section D: Essay type questions, usually answered in about 150 words, also with an internal choice.
Knowing this pattern in advance helps you decide how much detail to write for each type of question, instead of writing too little or too much and running out of time.
