The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Educationis announced the RBSE 12th exam date 2026 on December 19, 2025. The board will hold the RBSE class 12 exams 2026 from February 12 to March 11, 2026. The board exams The RBSE 12th exams 2026 will be held in offline (pen and paper) mode in morning shift from 8:30 am to 11:45 am. Students will be allowed to report 30 minutes prior to the actual exam timing. Compartment exams for class 12 is expected to be held in July 2026. The board announced the detailed time table on its website.
Rajasthan Board prescribes the exam pattern in the form of sample paper. The total duration of each paper of the RBSE Inter exams is three hours and fifteen minutes. Students are given an extra 15 minutes to read the question paper. The students must be aware that no students are allowed to leave the exam center before the exam end time.

Multiple Choice Questions (MSQs) always play a cruicial role in any board exams. Inclass 10, 12 board exams, MCQs are asked in each paper that contain 30% to 40% marks. The total marks in the RBSE Class 12 exams are 600. RBSE Board 12 exams are held for a total of six subjects. Each paper of the exam consists of 100 marks. 80 marks are distributed for the theory paper. While 20 marks are reserved for practical/internal exams. On the other hand, in some papers, theory exams are held for a total of 70 marks while practical papers are held for a total of 30 marks. These subjects include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Home Science, Psychology, etc.
The RBSE Class 12 exams are conducted in both Hindi and English medium. Students must know that the questions are asked in both Hindi and English languages except for language papers. Students can opt for the medium as per their choice. There is no difference in both languages during the answer sheet evaluation.

In RBSE class 12 exam, there are many subjects available for the students which includes Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Geography, History, Political Science, Economics, and more.
To pass the RBSE 12th exams, the students need to secure the minimum marks as prescribed by the board. As per the Rajasthan Board, the students need to secure at least 33 percent marks in each subject to clear the RBSE 12th exams. The students must note that the final marks of the exam will be calculated including the marks in Practical exams. The board conducts each paper of RBSE class 12 exams for 100 marks. Theoretical exams are held for a total of 80 marks (70 marks in a few subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Psychology etc.) while Internal assessment exams are held for a total of 20 marks.
