No, examiners will not deduct marks for exceeding the word limit. Marks will be deducted for spelling mistakes in the Language Papers. Students are advised to be careful with the spellings, so that they won't loose any marks. They are also advised not to waste time by writing much more than the word limit.

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Educationis announced the RBSE 12th exam date 2026 on December 19, 2025. The board held the RBSE class 12 exams 2026 from February 12 to March 11, 2026. The board exams The RBSE 12th exams 2026 will be held in offline (pen and paper) mode in morning shift from 8:30 am to 11:45 am. Students will be allowed to report 30 minutes prior to the actual exam timing. Compartment exams for class 12 is expected to be held in July 2026. Rajasthan Board prescribes the exam pattern in the form of sample paper. The total duration of each paper of the RBSE Inter exams is three hours and fifteen minutes. Students are given an extra 15 minutes to read the question paper. The students must be aware that no students are allowed to leave the exam center before the exam end time. 

The best way to prepare for the RBSE 12th board exams is to thoroughly go through the syllabus and break it down into manageable study sections. Students should prioritize the topics and concepts based on their weightage and importance, as mentioned in the syllabus. Regular revision, along with practicing past papers and sample papers, helps reinforce learning. Additionally, students can create a daily study time table to ensure they cover the entire syllabus before the exam period. The RBSE Class 12 exams are conducted in both Hindi and English medium. Students must know that the questions are asked in both Hindi and English languages except for language papers. Students can opt for the medium as per their choice. There is no difference in both languages during the answer sheet evaluation.

The total marks in the RBSE Class 12 exams are 600. RBSE Board 12 exams are held for a total of six subjects. Each paper of the exam consists of 100 marks. 80 marks are distributed for the theory paper. While 20 marks are reserved for practical/internal exams. On the other hand, in some papers, theory exams are held for a total of 70 marks while practical papers are held for a total of 30 marks. These subjects include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Home Science, Psychology, etc.

Many students wish to pass the RBSE 12th board exams without studying despite knowing the fact that is is not possible. Only a better preparation of the exam can help pass the Rajasthan Board class 12 exams. Candidates should go through the following tips to perform better in the final papers.

• Organise all notes and study material in one place and look at them on regular basis.
• Try to summarize what you are learning daily.
• Review the class notes more often to keep the information fresh in the mind.
• Practice RBSE 12th sample papers and previous year's question paper to understand the final exam pattern, type & level of questions asked.

Multiple Choice Questions (MSQs) always play a cruicial role in any board exams. Inclass 10, 12 board exams, MCQs are asked in each paper that contain 30% to 40% marks. Through, MCQs, the students are tested for their knoledge and understanding of concepts. Each MCQ usually has one mark, hence, answering them correctly can award boost to your score. These MCQs also take less time to answer if the studtnts are well-prepared.

All the class 12 model/sample papers have a set time limit. Hence, the students should solve them under a set time limit to improve their time management skills.

The students need to divide their day into study session while preparing the RBSE class 12 study timetable. They should give more time to subjects and topics they find difficult. They should also give session to revise and solve the sample papers.

It is best to start your preparation from the beginning of the academic year. The RBSE syllabus is wide, so starting early gives you enough time to understand each topic well. To pass the RBSE 12th exams, the students need to secure the minimum marks as prescribed by the board. As per the Rajasthan Board, the students need to secure at least 33 percent marks in each subject to clear the RBSE 12th exams. The students must note that the final marks of the exam will be calculated including the marks in Practical exams. The board conducts each paper of RBSE class 12 exams for 100 marks. Theoretical exams are held for a total of 80 marks (70 marks in a few subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Psychology etc.) while Internal assessment exams are held for a total of 20 marks.

Students should try to practice a minimum of 5 to 10 Rajasthan Board class 12 model papers for each subject before the final RBSE 12th board exams. It will help them improve speed, accuracy and boost their confidence.

Students must note that the time management is key to score well in all subjects in class 12 board exams. Students should make a study timetable by dividing time into subject-wise sessions. The students should focus more on subjects they find difficult and revise easier topics regularly. Students should try to complete the syllabus at leas a month or two before the final exams.
