The Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh (UPMSP) is a state-level board of education responsible for conducting Class 10 and 12 board examinations in the state of Uttar Pradesh. There are three main streams offered by UP Board, namely Science, Commerce and Arts. Science is often regarded as the most difficult stream in Class 12 board examination. Science stream includes Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the core subjects.

UP Board 12th Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme of Science Examination

According to the UP Board 12th exam pattern, the exam duration for the Science exam is three hours and fifteen minutes. First 15 minutes are given for reading the question paper. The total marks allocated for the examination are 100 of which 70 marks are for theory paper and 30 marks for the practical and internal assessments. 

Physics
