Value for money and an average college.
Placements: There are no in-college placements as such. However, professors, alumni, and former students help in securing jobs and other opportunities. Around 65% of students secured internships, with most of them opting for marketing and journalism roles. The majority of students received average to good packages.
Infrastructure: Our department boasts clean, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms with well-equipped labs and equipment. We have a well-stocked library with plenty of books. The hostel facilities are excellent, with comfortable rooms and good food available in the canteen. Additionally, we have a sports ground for cricket, football, and basketball.
Faculty: Most teachers are qualified and knowledgeable enough to teach students properly. The teaching quality is also very good. Yes, the curriculum is also relevant to the industry, and it will make the students industry-ready. The semester exams aren't that difficult to pass.
Other: I chose this course for the scope of creativity and lots of future options. One thing the college can improve is practical classes.

Good college really affordable and worth the money.
Placements: The placements are low or nil; there is no such thing as college placements. However, there are alumni who help you to get jobs, etc. There are professors who also help in getting jobs and internships; many students got good jobs through alumni and professors.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty decent compared to the expectations. We have good hostels, classes, labs, and everything is in order. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and there is a sports ground for basketball, football, and cricket. Additionally, there is a gym, which is quite decent. The quality of food in the canteen is fair-priced and good.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified, skilled, and highly knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant, preparing students for the industry with a practical approach. The semester exams aren't overly difficult; they are moderate, and you need to score at least around 40%.
Other: I chose this course for the opportunities it offers, allowing me to be creative. There are also plenty of scholarships available, and campus life is quite vibrant with numerous fests, events, seminars, etc.

My overall experience at Acharya Prafulla Chandra College.
Placements: 12th pass students can apply for this course. There is no stream needed. The highest package is Rs. 30,000. There are no internships at companies for internships. Talent is needed for an internship, not a percentage. For the course of Journalism and Mass Communication, the roles are reporting, radio jockeys, and content writers.
Infrastructure: The canteen is good. The food quality is good and the price is very reasonable. I don't live in the hostel, that's why I can't say anything about it.
Faculty: The teachers are very good, helpful, qualified, and friendly. They are like our friend. Teacher and student bonding is like friendships in college. The quality of the teaching is good. They provide us with good lessons and practical classes, which make students industry-ready. The semester exam is easy, you have to study for the semester exam and prepare yourself. The CGPA is above 7.
Other: The course is good because there are many opportunities, like anchoring, TV reporting, content writing, etc. I think the lab and practical classes should be improved a little bit. There are many fests like college fest, Holi fest, etc.

One of the finest college for almost every course with sufficient facilities & placements.
Placements: Around 60% of students were placed in my course. The highest package was of approximately twenty thousand rupees & the lowest package was of twelve thousand rupees. The average package was approximately fifteen thousand rupees. Top recruiting companies were News18Bangla, ZeeNews, KhasKhabar etc for my course. Around 25% of students got an internship from my course in news channels & portals like News18Bangla, ZeeNews, KhasKhabar, Nogorer Kotha etc. Top roles in news editing, news reporting, photography, sound & lighting production offered in my course.
Infrastructure: The college campus & infrastructures are quite good. Like my college has Wi-Fi zones, Large classrooms, Air Conditioned Library, Scientific labs with proper instruments. A separate section as the hostel was made in my college which has all the required facilities for a comfortable stay. My college campus also has a large canteen with budget-friendly healthy foods & big ground to play any kind of sports. Our annual sports events were also held on the same ground with sufficient medical equipment.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are very polite & helpful & definitely they are knowledgeable enough. The teaching quality is very good. In fact, our Journalism department was one of the top departments of our college. The course curriculum is relevant to every type of students. It makes the students not only industry ready to take an internship in various companies but also it makes the students knowledge enough to take Journalism as their subject in higher studies like M.A.
Other: From my school times, I have a dream to take Journalism as a subject in my higher studies so I have to choose this. Some practical classes of my course would be better if machines like projectors are available to demonstrate something on our topic. Our college has many events like Annual Function, Inauguration events, Annual Sports Events, College social, Picnics, Saraswati Puja, Holi are held in our college campus.

Around 70% of the students got internships from our course in companies like Ei Samay and Anandabazar Patrika.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided in our college are very good. Even Wi-Fi, labs, library, ground, and classrooms are available here. The quality of the food available is good, and the canteen is also good. The medical facility is available. Sports and games are conducted every year. Facilities in the hostel are good.
Faculty: Teachers here are qualified and knowledgeable. They are very helpful and friendly. Our teachers are awesome in teaching. The course curriculum makes the students industry-ready. You have to do hard work in the semester. University conducts a lot of exams. We will be busy for the whole semester. Here you will have many opportunities in sports and other extracurricular activities. Here you have to study maximum by yourself. You have to prepare for every exam.
Other: I am interested in journalist agencies and media, so I have chosen this course. The best thing about our course is creativity and enterprise skills. They should improve events and connectivity.
