Placements: I studied a general course, B.Sc. In Zoology, not a management course. So I need to learn about the placement facilities or other related information. But there are many other extra curriculum courses like music, computer etc. And the campus life is beautiful.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure could be better. I'm still looking for more. Many pieces of equipment are absent in the lab. The classrooms could be better. And the hostel service is in an inferior condition. Jim's rooms have yet to open. Yes, but there is a beautiful volleyball court and the library, and its service is decent.

Faculty: Yes, in this category, I would say "amazing". Teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and cooperative. Monthly class test facilities, WhatsApp group discussions, notes in Google classroom, Extra online classes, etc. Difficult internal question sets up, which can boost your learning.

The infrastructure is beautiful but the placement is not that good.

Placements: No placement is available here for the online classes. We are hoping that it will change, but no company has approached our college. Only few students have got internships from our college but no specific student has received any recruitment.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and the place where our college is situated is actually very good. The college is neat and clean but the facilities of hostel are not good. A canteen is available for teachers but not for the students. One canteen is under construction for the students. Sports and games are organized in our college.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful for the students. They also plan excursions for students through which we get to increase our knowledge. The also conduct many internal exams through which we can prepare ourselves for the upcoming exams. We have no problem regarding the teachers.

Other: I chose this course because I had interest in ecology and animals. But there is no job scope in my course.

An honest first-year review of Acharya Prafulla Chandra College

Placements: There is no established cell for placement in the college. Only students who get placed often assist those who were not placed through their connections. The committee has been trying to formally establish an effective cell. However, it has not yet been completed by the administration.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is above average, with classrooms, an auditorium, a common room, cultural fests, lift facilities, a library, and sports facilities. Both indoor and outdoor games, like football, cricket, etc., are available and can be played to have a good time with students.

Faculty: Faculty is really nice, with many expert professors who extend their knowledge and support to students when needed. This makes students really motivated to study and pass the rigorous course curriculum. Especially during practical excursions or scientific visits, they help us a lot in going through difficulties. Overall, the semester exams become easier with the lecture notes and suggestions provided by teachers.

It is the best college in Kolkata with great faculty members.

Placements: I am from (2010-2013) batch. I have spent our best part of life in this college, though at that time there was no placement for this course, i.e., B.Sc Hons in Zoology. APCC helped me in our overall development. Here the focus is on "Learning by Doing".

Infrastructure: The college is located in such a place which is accessible to both roadways and railways. Infrastructure includes all-weather building having labs for various subjects, rooms for conducting classes, library, computer lab, playground, auditorium, canteen and grievance cell.

Faculty: Faculty members at APCC are dedicated, qualified, knowledgeable, and very supportive. Because of their painstaking efforts and proper guidance, we could achieve our aim of life. I am indebted to them throughout my life. I had spent my best part of life in this college. I am a proud student of Acharya Prafulla Chandra College.

Other: I chose B.Sc Hons in Zoology because it has a wider scope. After qualifying Bachelor's degree, you can opt for M.Sc in Zoology. After that, you can apply for various competitive exams like NET/SET, WBCS, FCI, SSC, etc. College organizes various programmes like Welcoming Freshers', seminars, college fest, college reunion, and exhibitions. APCC believes in the overall development of the learners. Hence there is scope for field visits and excursions which helps in getting practical experience.

Review of Acharya Prafulla Chandra College (APCC).

Placements: Companies like TCS, Wipro, etc., visit our college often but not very frequent for placements.

Infrastructure: Lab instruments are fine, and the lab technician is very helpful. The location of our college is good, and faculty members are also good. There is a hostel for boys but only for minority category students. Women's hostel is available separately, and it is neat and clean. There are also a huge playground and basketball ground. The canteen is available to provide fresh meals. Otherwise, you can also have meals from outside the campus. The course infrastructure is more than average, and the course fee is a little high.

Faculty: Our batch consists of 30-40 students. All of them were good enough to maintain the Hons paper. Professors are excellent and friendly. Teachers are extremely qualified and very helpful. They give extra attention if they feel students need extra care. There is a separate classroom for every year. Seminar and extra activities are conducted. Teachers always complete their syllabus within the proper time. So, students can get enough time for practice.

Other: It is a very sporting college for students who love to do extracurricular activities.
