Affordable college with good learning and campus life.
Placements: Our passing out batch got good results. About 60-65% of students are placed, with packages starting from 25,000. Ashok Leyland is the main company, and many got roles as supervisors and operators. Currently, the college is trying to bring other companies through collaboration with AESTHETIX EDU-TECH.
Infrastructure: Our college has campus Wi-Fi and labs, which are medium good for studying. Classrooms have projectors, and there is a library with textbooks, other study materials, and storybooks. Hostel food is adjustable. A small shop is in the hostel. But there is no medical facility in the hostel. In college, we have sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are friendly in teaching. They are helpful. Most of them are well qualified, but some are also freshers. The new KTU 2024 curriculum makes students industry-ready, but it’s comparatively tough. University semester exams are difficult, but internal exams from the college are easy. The pass percentage here is around 70-75%.
Other: I took this course because I like machines and wanted to learn how they work and how to operate them. I feel it would be better if there were more practical teaching. In college, we have Arts Fest, Tech Fest, and also the big Al Azhar Fest.

Q:   Are private sector BTech jobs better-paying than government jobs?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

Well, yes. The private sector BTech jobs in India offer a higher earning potential than the government sector jobs, including promotions, yearly bonuses, performance rewards, etc., along with a plethora of career options across different sectors. Having said that, there is less scope for job stability in the private sector due to market downturns.

The government sector is known for decent job security and other benefits like health insurance and retirement benefits. Rest, you can sit and decide for yourself whatever suits your interests the best. Best wishes.
