Average college life with decent academics.

Placements: Course is MCA and BCA, and the duration is 5 years. Passing out is 2030. Approximately 60-70 percent of students got placed from the course. The recruiting companies are TCS, HCL, IBM, etc. Around 40 - 50 percent of students got internships. Top roles offered are software developer, junior Java developer, web developer, etc.

Infrastructure: The department has well-maintained classrooms with proper seating arrangements, projects, and a good learning environment. The campus is equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity, computer labs, and a library. The hostel facilities include clean rooms, regular water supply, and electricity. The quality of food in the mess is average, with only vegetarian options available. Medical facilities are available on campus or nearby. The college also provides facilities for sports and games, including indoor games and outdoor sports areas.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members are qualified and knowledgeable. Some teachers are very supportive and explain concepts clearly, while a few rely more on theoretical teaching. The course curriculum is relevant and covers core subjects like programming, os, and database. However, to be fully industry-ready, students need to work on projects and internships alongside the syllabus. It is a very good college for education.

Placements: Around 85% of students get placed in our college. Many small-level to high-level companies visit our college to offer placements such as Delight, Google, etc. The average salary package is 4 LPA to 5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The hostel is a bit strict. Students must get in by 6.30 PM and should have an outing pass to go out. Students get access from 3.30 PM to 6.30 PM regularly for outings. Wi-Fi provided in the hostel is good, with an average speed. Food served in the mess in the morning and afternoon is good, but dinner is not good.

Faculty: The education system is good in our college. Faculty members are knowledgeable. They clear the doubts of the students very well. Semester exams are not tough. If students study something, they can easily get above C grade.

Other: I chose this course as it provides more placements.

The college provides very good coaching and we strongly recommend others to join our institution.

Placements: Our college has given the students good placements in the best companies with high salary packages as per the education. The students are prepared to face all the interviews very confidently. The communication language is also taught to students. Many kinds of top roles are offered.

Infrastructure: We have very clean classrooms in our college. The library has all the books necessary for the students. We have a Wi-Fi facility in classrooms. Labs are very perfect. The staff members are also very helpful. The curriculum is good. There are no issues in college about studies or any other thing.

Faculty: The teachers in our college are very helpful. We have the best teaching staff. All the teachers are well qualified. Topics can be very neatly understood. Semester exams are not so difficult as we will be taught very well by the staff. The other non-teaching staff members are also helpful.

Other: We have the best course and teaching. Cultural fests and college events are also conducted in our college.

It is a good college for placements, but campus life is not very colourful.

Placements: In the MCA 2022 batch, 95% of students got placed during campus placements. The highest package offered is 25 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.25 LPA. Razorpay, Rakuten, TCS, Infosys, Josh Technology, Wipro, Wonksknow Technologies, and Oracle came here. 60% of them got internships cum placements in Cognizant, Capgemini etc. 10% of students got only internships. Data analyst, data scientist, software developer, software analyst, research associate, tech support engineer, senior associate, and web developer roles are offered.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and lots of computer labs are available to practice coding. Food available in the mess is vegetarian and is not that great. The canteen does not have a large variety of foods. Sports and games available on campus are cricket, football, badminton, chess, volleyball, and basketball. A gym is available.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified. Some teachers are good at teaching because their way of teaching is interesting. There is a lot to learn and understand in the syllabus. Semester exams are moderate. If you are a sincere student, you'll be easily able to pass the exam.

Absolutely above average because of faculty, moving on to placements, it is really good.

Placements: Currently, I am pursuing Integrated MCA and I am a 2nd-year student. Looking at placements in Amrita, out of 200 students, about 150 will be placed. This year, the highest package is 21 LPA. Companies like Amazon, AWS, Deloitte, Cisco, etc., come for placements and interviews. About 70 to 80 percent of students will get internships in the last year, during the 9th semester. Some of the roles offered are software engineer, developer, front-end and back-end developer, analyst, AI engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: Coming to facilities, the first part is the course. I have chosen Integrated MCA, which is a 5-year course that includes both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. We focus more on different coding languages. According to the course plan, we study appropriate subjects. The college provides Wi-Fi, has four computer labs, more classrooms, and a library. Coming to the hostel part, it is good to stay in the hostel rather than staying in a PG, as it is safe for girls. It has 5 floors, and rooms are shared by 4 to 6 students. The hostel has its own water dispenser, hot water is available, and outings are allowed every day. On Sundays, outings are allowed from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Faculty: The way of teaching is average to above average, something like neutral. Some faculty use PPTs and just scroll, while some explain without PPTs and provide more knowledge about the subject, which is sometimes helpful. The course is relevant and connected to job roles as well. Exams are sometimes difficult and sometimes easy, it depends on how we study. The pass percentage is at least 20 to 25 percent minimum required.
