B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2027

A better place to learn and grow.
Placements: Most of our seniors are placed in MNCs and top companies such as Qualcomm, TCS, Amazon, and many more. The average package of our seniors from Andhra University College of Engineering is 6-8 LPA. AU also provides internships with top companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in Andhra University College of Engineering is good. They provide Wi-Fi and necessary facilities to us. The food provided in the hostel is good, and the medical facilities on our campus are very good.
Faculty: Most of the teachers at Andhra University College of Engineering are experienced professors. The scholars under the professors also help us clear doubts without any fear. I don’t say that semester exams are easy, but with preparation, we can write well. The pass percentage in my class is above 90%.
Other: I have chosen Electronics and Communication Engineering to follow my passion. In ECE, we can learn how technology is improving (in the way of communication or in the way of integrated chips). The Government of Andhra Pradesh provides a scholarship if anyone joins through EAMCET.

It has good infrastructure and value for money quality education.
Placements: The placements are nice and the packages that are coming from various pharma companies and chemical industries like HPCL, Arabindho, and various companies like Reddy Labs, and a minimum package of 3.2 lakhs per annum, and the highest package is 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The department classrooms are neat, and each classroom is equipped with air conditioning, good ventilation, and each contains a projector, digital boards, mike, and speakers. The hostel's mess is very hygienic, and food is nice, and hostel contains Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Each subject is assigned a Ph.D. professor and associate professors. This campus provides better lab equipment and helps in research and development of various projects. Exams are difficult, and each semester we can pass and some we can get a distinction.

M.Sc. in Applied Chemistry - Batch of 2023

2Placements2Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Course is not helpful, teachers do not support, and the facilities are bad.
Placements: I was in the M.Sc. batch. Nearly 60% of students got placed. The highest package was around 7 LPA, the lowest was 2 LPA, and the average was 3.5 LPA. Some companies like TCS and Wipro came for recruitment. Internships were available to a few only, in local labs or IT. Mostly job roles like lab assistant, data entry, or junior analyst were offered.
Infrastructure: Labs were not so good, many things were broken. Wi-Fi worked slowly, and sometimes did not work. Classrooms were old, and fans made noise. The library was big, but the books were very old. The hostel was not clean, the toilets were bad. The mess food was oily and cold. Canteen was little costly. No good medical facilities. Sports ground was not cared for.
Faculty: Teachers had a degree but were not good teachers. They just came, spoke, and went. They were not very helpful to the students. Course did not match the industry needs. No real skill taught. Exams were sometimes hard, and many students failed. Pass percentage was around 60%. Study on your own only if you want to pass.
Other: I chose M.Sc. because I like Science subjects. Some topics were good, but no deep teaching. The teacher did not clear the doubt. No fest, campus mostly silent. The crowd was boring, and no extra activity was conducted. There was no good bus or train nearby. Scholarship system was confused. Need more student support.

Satisfied with the college, the student also plays a key role in achieving their dreams.
Placements: I am a student from the 2023-2027 batch of the ECE department. This course has been academically rigorous, providing a strong foundation in digital electronics, VLSI, and other subjects. While placements of our batch have yet to be started. The data from our senior batch suggests a high placement rate of around 80-85%.
Infrastructure: The college has a good and friendly faculty, and the timetable is also flexible, allowing students to prepare for other competitive exams. The library is also loaded with all the necessary books. The labs are well-equipped and have good lab assistants, and the college provides free medical services to students throughout their lives. The whole college gives a classic, vintage feel, but the washrooms need serious improvement.
Faculty: The college has a good and friendly faculty, and their teaching quality is appreciable. The course curriculum is largely relevant and structured to build a strong foundation. You will get to know the basics of electronics in your 1st year and basic programming languages as well. Students can also gain practical experience in labs. Though some subjects were tough, with proper attention in classes, students can clear them easily and maintain a good CGPA.
Other: ECE is a perfect blend of hardware and software and provides a wide range of career opportunities. The college provides a perfect foundation in the subject with practical and hands-on experiences as well. The department also conducts workshops, hackathons, and 2-day cultural events every year.

I'm satisfied with the faculty but not with the facilities at the hostels.
Placements: We have a total strength of around seventy students in my class. The percentage of getting any internship is low. Students have to search for an internship on their own. The highest and the lowest packages are around 1 crore per annum and 2 LPA. Top software companies and semiconductor companies chose students from our campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our classes is so good. We have AC classrooms with projectors and good quality labs, etc. Also, the facilities are so good, like the library. The facilities in the hostels are not up to standard. We have a lot of problems regarding the supply of water in our hostel. The quality of food is good.
Faculty: To know about the faculty, they are qualified scholars and Ph.D. holders. Coming to our ECE department, we get our full semester schedule well in advance. We have a well-organized timetable. Exams are conducted at regular intervals. The standards of the question papers are also good.

It is a good college for learning skills and accquring knowledge.
Placements: Nearly 70% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 22 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Cognizant, and Amazon. Around 60% of the students got internships in this domain mostly from TCS and Infosys. Students from full-stack developers are mostly placed.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided in our college are average. We have 3 floors with limited classrooms. There is a library and Wi-Fi is also available. Nearly we have 4 labs for our department. Coming to the hostel, the food served is better, and all facilities like medical, and cleaning are provided. But the hostel fee is high.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and provide quality education to us. Students may not be ready for the industry if they do not learn skills apart from the subjects taught in college. Semester question papers are average and the pass percentage is also average.
Other: I chose this course because computer science engineering is one of the best courses in the present-day scenario. Our country needs the most development in technology. So I choose this for my future development. I would like to make the course more practical to learn than theoretical.
