Review of Angadi Institute of Technology and Management.

Placements: There are few placements in mechanical engineering, electronics, and communication engineering. Computer science engineering students will have greater placements compared to other branches. Most of the students get placed in TCS with a salary package of 3.25 LPA, which is less.

Infrastructure: Our college is located on Savagoan road where you will not find any harsh sounds or vehicle sounds. There is no disturbance at all. It has a good infrastructure. It has a huge playground where we play cricket, football, volleyball, etc. It has a huge campus with beautiful gardens. It also has a canteen inside the campus.

Faculty: Our college has the best qualified and experienced faculty members. Teachers explain and teach extraordinary. If you don't understand, then they will explain it until you get it. Teachers support us in both academic and non-academic activities like sports, projects, etc. Almost all teachers are PhD holders, and some are about to complete a PhD.

A real good infrastructure with a great faculty and facilities, with improving placements.

Placements: Placements are good but not up to the mark as we students expect. Very rare big companies come to our college, but companies like Sankalp Semiconductors, ABC, HCL, Spider, TCS, WIPRO, Servo Controls, etc. Come to our college every year and around 150 to 200 students get placed from all the branches.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this Institute is really great with Wi-Fi facility in entire campus and full availability of good pure drinking water. It's having a good spacious classrooms, fully equipped practical laboratories especially for mechanical Civil and Computer Science branches. Big two canteens to have food, huge playground, a great library with over more than 40,000 books, good and clean washrooms, big spacious hostels and hostel rooms separately for girls and boys.

Faculty: A great faculty with real humble and caring nature just like parents and very friendly, in all the branches of the college. They focus on making the student understand the concept well. The pattern of conducting the exams is also really good. Conduction of sportive games and cultural activities in form of fests is really awesome.

Other: Events such as inter-branch cricket tournament for boys and throwball competition for girls, dahi hand celebration, Ganesh chaturthi celebration by bringing the idol of lord Ganesh in the campus, National Level Fest is conducted and also inter-collegiate fests are also conducted every year, and also there is some or the other event in every month to boost the students, good green, clean and silent campus all around with peace and study atmosphere, Scholarships are also provided for the students who have performed extremely well in academics and also extra curricular activities such as dance, singing, Acting, flash mob, etc.

Really good infrastructure, but there are no placements. Dissatisfied with the faculty.

Placements: The placements never happen, the companies do not visit the college. In our batch, nobody is placed. It is same as the previous batch. College does not send any student to the internship. We have not yet seen a placement cell. The overall yearly results are satisfactory. No industrial exposure is provided. The college doesn't entertain its students to attend any internship or training camps.

Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure. All the classes and labs are well-equipped. Importance is also given to sports and games. The hostel facilities are good. There is no gym or yoga centre. Medical facilities are not available. Public transport facilities are not available. Good canteen facilities and quality of food are satisfactory.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified, but they are neither helpful nor knowledgeable. The teaching quality is satisfactory. The student to faculty ratio is very low. There is no industrial exposure. The course curriculum was not beneficial. The language in which subjects are taught and the way of teaching are outdated. It is not as per the standards of the university.

Other: Events such as fests happen, and the connectivity is good. The surroundings are peaceful and clean. The scholarship is given by the government on caste bases, and not on merits or talent.

Best upcoming college of Belgaum.

Placements: For a relatively new engineering college, there are a variety of placement training sessions done along with resume writing and interview etiquette programs. There is a placement cell, which is developing with every passing year. The placements for a mechanical engineering graduate were not very good regarding core mechanical or technical companies, although there were a few Finance and IT companies like Amazon and Infosys. The college also participates in combined job fairs with other nearby engineering colleges which boosts the chance of placement.

Infrastructure: Regarding infrastructure, the college is quite good. There is wi-fi in the entire campus with good speed up to 2 Mbps. AITM has one of the biggest libraries in Belgaum for an educational institute with numerous digital books, research magazines and daily newspapers. The library also lends out textbooks to all students for the entire semester duration to reduce the costs of buying textbooks. Regarding sports, AITM has football field which hosts regular inter-department and inter-college competitions every year along with table tennis, carrom, chess and other indoor sports. The labs are well-equipped with modern machines used in Industries, keeping the students up to date regarding technical skills. The computer labs are advanced and use the latest design software like Solidedge and Catia. There are separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls with three students per room basis and attached bathrooms. There is fully functioning canteen for students in college which serves veg and non-veg food.

Faculty: The teachers are experienced and knowledgeable and very helpful for guidance towards projects and research. The teaching quality is excellent where the teachers use demonstrations and presentations for better understanding for students with yearly industrial visits from the third semester onwards. There are frequent guest lecturers invited to give lectures to increase student involvement in their domain. The various streams of engineering in the college have dedicated labs for different subjects which help in better understanding of topics. The lab attendants are also helpful regarding keeping the labs open for a few extra hours for final year projects.

Other: All the engineering streams have their technical fests every year which is organised by the students. Intercollege technical and cultural events are held in the campus by engineering and diploma students once a year. The International Kite Festival is held on the grounds of AITM Belgaum every year. The campus has an open amphitheatre and an auditorium. The campus is 30 minutes bus ride away from the hustle and bustle of the Belgaum city thereby creating an ideal atmosphere for studying. The college has a fleet of buses that ferry the students from college to main Belgaum city. The college gives scholarships for deserving SC, ST, OBC students. The campus crowd is a mixture of rural background students from Karnataka, localities from Belgaum and candidates from Goa and Maharashtra.

The truth and reality of AIMS.

Placements: There are no placements in this college. All the management do politics to eat the money. There is no development, and the placement officer is not good. They are a bit over attitude towards the students and show off always. There are no placements at all. They don't have a proper company to place the students. Even BPO companies won't come to place here.

Infrastructure: The college has a cool building and is a quite good habitat for learning. The infrastructure is still needed to be improved. Development is required. The college is all over-rated. There are no complaints about any building, and everything is okay. The college needs to improve playground conditions, and there is no proper Wi-Fi facilities and need proper parking.

Faculty: The faculty members are like 50-50, some are very good, and some are useless. They need to improve quality of teaching. Due to family issues and respect, the students do their study on their own which leads to good overall grades, and the staff is taking all the credit. Stop showing off and start to send students for internships and free workshops.
