VTU College of Engineers.
Placements: 50 percent of students from our batch got placed through campus drives. The highest package offered is around 12 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average stood at nearly 5.5 LPA. Top recruiters included Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, and a few product-based companies. Nearly 40 percent of students also got internship opportunities in reputed firms like Cognizant, Accenture, and start-ups.
Infrastructure: The department has specialised labs for programming, AI/ML, and electronics, fitted with the latest systems and software tools required for hands-on training. The library is well-stocked with reference books, journals, and e-resources, making it a great support for academic projects and research.
Faculty: Teaching quality is quite good, with a mixture of traditional board teaching, PowerPoint presentations, and real-world case studies. Some faculty members even guide students in mini-projects and research papers, which makes the learning experience more interactive.

Review of Visvesvaraya Technological University.
Placements: The percentage of students who were placed was around 75%. The highest package is 3 LPA, and the lowest package is 50 LPA. The companies recruiting were Infosys, Micra, and others. Around 80% of students got internships in companies from our course.
Infrastructure: Our department is well-equipped with modern facilities to support both academic and practical learning. High-speed Wi-Fi is available across the campus, ensuring smooth access to online resources. The classrooms are spacious, equipped with projectors and smart boards to make learning interactive. The department has specialized labs for programming, AI/ML, and electronics, fitted with the latest systems and software tools required for hands-on training. The library is well-stocked with reference books and journals. And e-resources, making it a great support for academic projects and research.
Faculty: Teachers in our department are generally very helpful, approachable, and well-qualified. Most of them hold postgraduate and doctoral degrees in their respective fields. They are knowledgeable and use practical examples to explain concepts. The curriculum is fairly relevant to current industry needs, especially in areas like programming, AI, machine learning, and data science. The syllabus is updated in line with new technologies, though sometimes it's a little theoretical.
