For the General AI category, the last round cutoff ranged from 28255 to 44592 for the BTech courses. Out of the two courses offered, the hardest for admission was B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, with the cutoff of 28255. IIIT Guwahati JEE Main cutoff 2025 was released in the form of opening and closing ranks for 2 BTech courses, namely BTech CSE and BTech ECE, for many categories, including the General AI category. The round 1 closing ranks ranged from 19105 to 26015, wherein the BTech in Computer Science and Engineering course was the toughest one for admission. IIIT Guwahati cutoff for the OBC AI category ranged from 7560 to 59649, according to both the first and last rounds. Out of both the courses, the least preferred was BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering course, with the cutoff being 10305 in the first round, and increasing to 59649 by the last round. IIIT Guwahati Cutoff 2025 for SC AI Category

IIIT Guwahati admissions were closed at a rank of 201491 for the SC category students belonging to the All India quota. On the other hand, for the OBC AI category, the last round cutoff was 59649. When comparing both these ranks with each other, we can say that the competition for the SC AI was less than that of the OBC AI category. IIIT Guwahati Cutoff 2025 for ST AI Category

Students who want to enrol in IIIT Guwahati for the engineering courses have to appear in the JEE Main entrance exam, attain valid ranks and then appear in the counselling process. The most sought-after course was BTech CSE, with the last round cutoff of 260130. In contrast, the same course had the last round rank of 164471 for the SC AI category. There were a total of 9 rounds of seat allotment results released based on the 2 counselling processes for admission to the engineering courses. The first 6 rounds were conducted by the JoSAA counselling process and the remaining 3 by the CSAB counselling process. Students who could gain a seat for this course can choose the BTech ECE course, which had the last round cutoff of 1299380

 IIIT Guwahati cutoff 2025 was released for BTech CSE and BTech ECE. For the OBC AI category, the overall cutoff ranged from 7560 to 59649. According to the last round, BTech CSE proved to be more competitive in compairson.

Yes, but your options will be limited to PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering and PhD in Computer Science and Engineering. Do note that you must have scored a minimum CPI of 7.0 or 65% of marks to get shortlisted.

No, IIIT Guwahati does not charge any application fee from PhD candidates. The institute only charges course fee from students who have been finally selected after the interview and written exam. It is not possible to pursue PhD in Mathematics from IIIT Guwahati with 50% marks because minimum percentage requirement is 60%. Even if you are a reserved category candidate, you get a relaxation of 5%. For improving your chances of admission, try to score 60% or more in post-graduation.
