Baba Banda Bahadur School of Nursing is a good college nursing college in Punjab.
Placements: 80% of students get placed in our course. In the B.Sc. in Nursing course, the package is 4 lakhs with the hostel, but this package increases every year a little. Companies do not visit the college for placements. Almost 70% of students got internships in government hospitals and GGS Faridkot.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure is available for our course. Everything is good. Classrooms are good. Lab instruments and well-skilled teachers are present in labs. Wi-Fi is available. It provides well-maintained hostels with better-quality of food. There are many physical activities and we can enjoy them in the hostel.
Faculty: Our college has well-qualified teachers. But mostly they teach us in the Punjab language, which is a little difficult to understand. Other language-speaking students can face difficulty in understanding the Punjab language but after a few months, all things can be improved. The pass percentage in each semester is 45%. Baba Farid University is a good university in India.
Other: I chose this course because the B.Sc. Nursing is a very good medical field in which we can learn new things and develop new skills every day. It is a respectful profession. After completing my course, we can care for and help patients to heal and provide psychological support. The campus area is very good and large. There is no crowd on campus. NSP scholarships are provided. On campus, we can do many physical activities.

Good course and curriculum, but not infrastructure.
Placements: Very less percentage of students get placement. No package is offered at all. There are no top recruitments. Available options for recruitments are in hospitals or teaching fields such as colleges. In nursing colleges, internship is included in the course itself. Roles such as registered nurse, nursing officer, ward nurses, staff nurses, nursing superintendent, professor at college, etc.
Infrastructure: Overall, the college campus is not top-notch, but it still provides a few facilities. Wi-Fi is not present. Labs present in our college are fundamentals lab, community lab, mental health lab, nutrition lab, child and maternal lab, nursing management lab, anatomy and physiology lab. A library is also present, named Rose Library. Classrooms are not sufficient. I am a day scholar, so I don't know about hostel facilities, but yes, our college has a hostel. A canteen is present. Medical facilities are not provided.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are not qualified enough, not knowledgeable, but yes, they are helpful in certain ways. Teaching quality is not up to the mark. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant, and indeed it makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are very difficult. The passing percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because I had a liking for Biology, and nursing is all about humans and biology. The best thing about B.Sc. Nursing is the exposure in hospitals and internships. Instead of monotonous lectures, practicals should be demonstrated to teach in an effective way. Events are organized every year. Scholarship is provided, but only to lower castes, and people like us from the general category are never considered. (There should be scholarships based on merit, not on the caste system).
