Why BABA BANDA SINGH BAHADUR is best among other.
Placements: Almost 80% student of my branch are placed in a good company. The highest package is almost 6.5 Lacs with an average of approximately 3 to 4 Lacs. We got internship opportunities through our college, so if you are choosing Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College then you don't take stress about internships. These opportunities are available for the Civil and aMechanical Engineering Branches only .
Infrastructure: There are almost 65 students in a class and the entire campus is provided with a high-speed Wi-Fi range by the college. There are several labs for several departments. There are 4 hostels in the college. The rooms are pretty clean and facilitates like that of a bed, a chair, a table along with a cupboard is provided in the hostel. There is one big canteen and a cafeteria. Medical facilities are provided in the hostels.
Faculty: There are more than two hundred faculty members in my college having several departments. They are well qualified having a Masters Degree Certificates. They are well trained for the purpose of teaching. The semester exams are so difficult and feel equivalent to appearing in a UPSC exam.

Review of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College.
Placements: The percentage of students who were placed in my course is 10%. The highest package of my college is 4-5 LPA, and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. Normal hiring is done in my college. 2 to 3 percent of students got internships in my course in Chandigarh or Noida.
Infrastructure: In my college, every facility is available like Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi in college and in the hostel is also available. Labs are also available for every department, and each department has its own lab and classroom. Every classroom is neat and clean always, and everything is fine. In my college, there is a central library in which there are lots of books of every branch and also have study facilities and also have some English newspapers to read out and improve our communication skills. In my college, there are four hostels and two messes. Hostels are of two types: two hostels have two-seated rooms and two are three-seated. Mess food is good, and only vegetarian food is given, and it is so hygienic and clean food.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful, and all the teachers have master's degrees, and some teachers have also done their Ph.D. All the teachers have knowledge. The teaching quality of teachers is good. All the teachers give their best towards the students. The semester is at a medium level, not too high and not too low. Maximum students pass in the semester exam.
Other: I am interested in this course. The best thing in my course is that it is now trending in the market, and I like this course; it is a very interesting course. In my college, there are so many events held like sports meetups, some fests are done by the seniors of the college. The campus surrounding is very clean and safe because everywhere we all are under observation in CCTV cameras.

Absolutely a waste of money and placements are not provided.
Placements: Only 10% of students get placed, with the highest package being 6 LPA, the lowest 2.4 LPA, and an average of 3.2 LPA, with companies like HCL and Tech Mahindra recruiting; only 20% of students get internships in Tech Mahindra, and Data Scientist is the top role being offered in my college for the 2025 placement.
Infrastructure: The hostel and infrastructure are good, but the Wi-Fi does not work properly. The mess food is not good, and the canteen prices are high, the warden does not respond quickly, so we face many problems, the hostel culture is not good, and local boys are dominant.
Faculty: Teachers are good and give the best quality of knowledge but do not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are too difficult, and the passing percentage is only 60%. The course curriculum is bad, so I would not like to suggest any student to get admission in this college. Teachers do not teach well, so many students fail in semester exams.
Other: I chose this course because I want to be a Data Scientist, but the teaching style should be improved. Events and fests are organized regularly.

Very nice college. Placement is very good.
Placements: At least 5,6 companies hire from here this year. Out of 65 mechanical students 12 got placed in these companies. The minimum package was 1.2L and the highest was 3L. It is impressive the placement department works very hard to place the students in reputed company.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities are awesome. In these four years I didn't feel any inconveniences from hostel authority. Wi-Fi is stable and working. Library is good. Quality of food is much better than others. I recommend others that the food here is very good.
Faculty: 1. YES teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are teaching really well. All are very nice down to earth and helping hand teachers.
2. Yes offcourse curriculum is industry ready. And It should be no doubt.
3. They are of average. Not too difficult nor so easy. Only the syllabus based.

A well known college, known for its culture. No placements for my batch.
Placements: Nobody was placed from my batch.
10 students out of 180 got good internship offers, but at a cost.
No company came to our college for placements. So no salary packages offered.
But it is very well-equipped to learn and can lead to jobs.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good.
Food quality is okay.
Labs are very well with modern equipment
Classrooms are also well ventilated with certain classrooms having the latest boards.
Sports is something which is giving our college a new direction and fame.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified. They are very well industry oriented. A lot of teachers have industry relations and hence it's very helpful for students. Assignments are Something which I never liked as there is no thought process into it. Just a copy paste.
