It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. The institute currently offers eight UG programmes in engineering and four PG programmes in the field of Engineering, Management & Computer Applications. It currently has 10 departments. The university has an active placement cell and good infrastructure, making it an overall good option for students to take admission in.
