Not bad, good infrastructure, but in placements, It is average, with packages around 3-5 LPA.

Placements: 8% of students are placed in the Information Technology course. The highest package is 21 LPA, but only a few students are placed above 10 LPA. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA for our course. The average package offered is 5 LPA. In our college, the top recruiting companies for Information Technology are TCS, Cognizant, Zoho, and Amazon. In my point of view, only a few students get internships in some companies, with nearly 10 students in Zoho. In our college, Data Analyst and Full Stack Developer are the top roles offered.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good. Each student has one mentor who is responsible for that student, and I give 5 points to the infrastructure of our college. Daily 5G data is allotted to every student, although some regions of the college have a bad network. Labs are really excellent for students, and they provide practice sessions and assessment sections for all students. All equipment in our college is working good. Classrooms are good with fans, and they have rolling chairs in classrooms. In mainly library has four floors.

Faculty: Some of the teachers are helpful and qualified. Other faculty members are not knowledgeable. The teaching quality of the faculty is not bad. In my course, the curriculum is relevant to students and makes them ready for the industry. Moreover, the semester exams are easy because they provide a question bank for the semester exams.

Other: I am interested in the IT field, so I choose the IT department. The computers in the college are the best thing about my course. The subjects in my course are better and improve the faculty quality. Once a year, the Pongal festival is the biggest event in our college. Camps and scholarships are good, our college provides some scholarships, like Friends of Friends (FOF) scholarships. Even in our college, the special labs are very excellent and they allow students to participate in many events.

I am very satisfied with the placement records and placement training sessions in this college.

Placements: Companies visiting for placements include major names such as Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Amazon, Accenture, Cognizant, Deloitte, and others across various sectors. In total, 90% of students get placed, reflecting strong placement support from the college. The highest-paying job offered to a student at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology is 44 lakhs per annum, while the average salary package is 5.5 lakhs per annum. The top role offered is software developer.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are equipped with modern technological provisions, including smart board and projectors, enhancing interactive learning. The hostel rooms are well-equipped with essential facilities such as separate beds, study tables with study lights, cupboards, and shelves. The rooms are spacious, allowing good air circulation, making them comfortable for students to live and study in.

Faculty: Our teachers supported us during critical times and offered guidance when our performance was low. They were very qualified in their particular streams and knowledge. The course curriculum balances theoretical knowledge and practical skills, preparing students for assessments and real-world scenarios. Exams are held once per semester, with one internal and one external assessment. The exams emphasize logical thinking and are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is 98%.

Other: I applied to this college through counseling, having secured a good cutoff mark, and chose it as my first preference due to its excellent placement records. In terms of extracurricular activities, the college offers a variety of sports such as cricket, football, and badminton, alongside activities like dance, music, and debate. Student-run clubs, including coding clubs, entrepreneurship cells, and cultural groups, play a significant role in shaping campus life, fostering leadership, creativity, and teamwork among students. The college conducts technical events and workshops to explore skills and knowledge.
