The Review of Barasat Government College.
Placements: Our college don't provide any placement step up. If you want a job, then you must find it yourself. But our college degree has value. With this degree, no one can reject you from a job for the degree. But if you want to join this college for a job, then I say don't do it.
Infrastructure: In this college, they provide classrooms with whiteboards and projectors, which are very helpful for studying. In the library, you can find most books without any problem, and they provide a computer in the library. There is also college Wi-Fi that you can access with your mobile number. The college doesn't have any hostel for students.
Faculty: Most of the teachers in the college are helpful, but some teachers aren't very helpful. The teaching quality is decent, and the course curriculum isn't that much good. Exams for the semester are decent in terms of difficulty level. You can pass with 25%.

Mostly satisfied with academics, faculty, infrastructure but the placement and hostel is poor.
Placements: The percentage of students placed was zero. There is no scope for placement in this college. Most of the students have been admitted here only after completion of their academics. After finishing the degree regularly, they had admitted to another college where they may get placement.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure. For Science, stream labs are up to the mark. It has computer labs with a free internet connection. Wi-Fi is also available for all free of cost. But the problem is there is no hostel facility in this college. Due to this, the students suffer very much.
Faculty: The faculty of this college is good. They will teach you with care and responsibility. They are the most qualified. The curriculum is standard based on University grant commission (UGC) guidelines. But the curriculum is theoretical. It may not give you sufficient practical skills to be hired by the industry.
Other: Extra curricular activities is less in the college. Academics is the main focus.

A review of Barasat Government College.
Placements: This is not a technical or engineering college, so there is no placement cell or on-campus placements. Students usually pursue higher studies after completing this degree course. Most students who have completed this course get jobs through their own skills, as there is no placement session conducted by the college. If you want to do an internship, you have to arrange it on your own.
Infrastructure: The college has a big and well-maintained campus. It has a very strong Wi-Fi connection all over the campus, but there is a daily limit of 1 GB per day on the Wi-Fi network. The library has a huge collection of books, journals, and magazines. The library also has computers for students to use within the library. The laboratories are good, with very good and enough equipment. There's no hostel in the college, so students have to rent rooms outside the college. There is no mess, but there is one canteen inside the college, although the canteen food is not hygienic.
Faculty: Professors in this college are very good and professional. The faculty-to-student ratio is good, and the faculty members have a good demeanor. The course curriculum is quite relevant to real-life applications. Students can either go for a job or pursue higher studies after completing this degree. Semester exams are moderate to easy in difficulty. Mostly, all the students pass the exams.
Other: I chose this college because I wanted to take a drop year for the JEE exam, but I wanted to have a backup option. The best thing about this course is that it is very professional. The college campus is very positive, and there is no harassment or bullying inside the college campus. People here are very positive, and seniors try to help us in every way possible. We have our annual fest called EXUBERANCE, which is quite decent.

The best college for all students.
Placements: I am Ankush Sharma. I just admitted in the college in this year. The percentage of the course in this college is 70%. The highest pack is four thousand rupees and the lowest is two thousand rupees. The top recruiting company of our college is many private like Tata, indigo etc. And government job like post officer etc. The percentage of course that those students can get internship is 65%. The top roles is Company officer and also chief etc.
Infrastructure: In hostel there are many benefits available. There are also Wi-Fi coverage and network for education. Also hava many lap for experience and all. In college there many sports held by our college. And there are many facilities like medical etc. We play like many internship and sports between two college etc. Thare are many indoor games like case etc.
Faculty: The teacher of our college so good and helpful to us mean students. They teach us very goodly and seriously and absolutely. The help us executive and so grow in our field for our future. That is all for students who became something in his future. They just not only teach about books they teach us about our life and more.
Other: In our college the event like drama, programme with artist and also more events happen in our college.

Placements: It is true to say that if you are looking for placements only, then this is not the right college for you. No placements are offered here. You have to study your subject effectively, and then you can join the campus to get experience in your field. I hope it helps.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good, and the buildings are new and clean. The hall is beautiful and big enough that over 100 students can sit at any time. Benches and tables are good, and you can feel the nostalgic vibes in engineering college. You can come join us.
Faculty: Examinations are held every 6 months (which is a semester), and every month there will be short assessments and weekly tests. Teachers are best here. They help you in every field. You can explore your studies with our teachers during your free period. The best part is to learn something.
