Review of Maulana Azad College.

Placements: This is a general degree college, so placements cell is not active. However some students get selected to some companies like Amazon. Some students of Arabic department get placed as a transaltor. But this is very few in case. Although many students of science department get selected in IIT and many prestigious institution inside and outside of India.

Infrastructure: The college has a huge infrastructure. Everything building is very clean and sharp. Some department is fully air-conditioned like microbiology, botany, chemistry, zoology, etc. But the only problem is that the college does not have any playground and the campus is very small. But the college has a good canteen. It has two separate government hostels for Muslim students where the fee structure is very low. The mess food quality is average.

Faculty: In our microbiology department, there are 8 faculty members. Everyone has their Ph.D. degree so no doubt they are very educated. Their teaching quality is next level. I love our teachers, and they are very friendly and always ready to help students. Especially our HOD is much responsible person.

Review of Maulana Azad College.

Placements: The college didn't conduct placements after completion of our course B.Sc (Hons) Microbiology. I don't have an idea about what the salary packages offered, and also don't know about the top recruiters of our college. Professors and scientists are the top roles offered here. Students get fellowships here by cracking CSIR UGC NET, which allows them to pursue PhD after completion of their masters.

Infrastructure: There are digital classrooms with Wi-Fi facility. The library contains the required supplementals and is updated. The quality of food is good and affordable. There is a well-equipped gymnasium for students.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable enough to guide us through the rigours syllabus of the University of Calcutta. The course curriculum is relevant. Nowadays, the syllabus is quite updated enough to keep up with the industry and make the students ready enough for the industry.

Other: I chose this course because the world of microbes fascinated me. The best thing about my course is that you will get to know about the invisible organisms. The college should improve a lot in terms of events and fests.
