Its okay not a very good and not a very bad.
Placements: Not placed from college because I want to get job in Bangalore and in this college most of the companies comes from Chandigarh which is mostly for support profile and I want to be a software developer. Now I am working in Bangalore as a full stack developer.
Infrastructure: I satisfied with their library infrastructure and rest of all like a government building. They have one Library, one Engineering building, one Polytechnic building, one Nursing building, two hostels, one faculty residence, one basketball court, one playground where we can play football carrom.
Faculty: Some of their faculty members are good which is very helpful and some of them are arrogant they behave like they came from NASA and all. Most of the faculty members are pursuing Ph.D. from the same institute. Our classroom strenght was almost 80 students so I can say that the faculty ratio is about 80:1.

It is one of the best colleges.
Placements: There are enough placement opportunities for the students as the placement drives start only from the beginning of the seventh semester. The companies like HCL, Wipro, Amazon, Microtech etc. recruit students from different trades. Every eligible candidate gets ample of opportunities.
Infrastructure: As far as the infrastructure of the college is concerned, it is among the best in Punjab. The academic block is having large classrooms and labs are equipped with all the latest facilities. There are two separate hostels for boys and girls, and they are well-built.
Faculty: The faculty is the best part of the institution. Each and every faculty is well-versed in their subjects and are quite supporting too, but at the same time, they also expect good results because they don't leave any stone unturned when it comes to the course or the syllabus.
Other: Annual events and the fresher party is organized every year. A very live crowd can be expected at any time through out the semester.

The placements are fake in BGIET, Sangrur.
Placements: The placements are fake, and the companies often visit the college. There is no guidance to the students for the preparation of the placements. The companies often come offering the package of 1.20 lacs per annum. If the student gets placed in the company, he/she will either expelled, or the company is fraud.
Infrastructure: The labs are of moderate level. There are a medical facility and the library. The classrooms are not much high tech. The teachers are below average. The infrastructure is good, but technically this college is below average. The skill and technical strength of the students of this college are almost zero. There are no efforts to improve the level of education except giving pressure on lectures. The lectures can help to get good marks in exams, but we come to the college to gain the practical and the technical knowledge.
Faculty: The faculty members are poor. The course does not offer the practical knowledge. The teaching is poor. They are hired at less salary, and that's why the teaching is not good. The instructors in the labs are not skilled that they even don't know how to connect the cables to an Oscilloscope.
