Good placements before COVID-19, but the numbers have been decreasing since then.
Placements: There are fewer placements in my college for core branches like Mechanical Engineering (ME) and Civil Engineering. The focus is primarily on IT (software jobs). The highest package is 27 lakhs per annum, the lowest is 1.15 lakhs per annum, and the average salary package is 2.5 lakhs per annum. Companies like Accenture, IBM, JSW, Kirloskar Ferrous, and Tech Mahindra recruit from our campus. About 20 to 25% of students get internships every year across all branches.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are generally good, but some have water leakage problems. Wi-Fi connectivity is available for students but is limited to 12 MB, which often gets exhausted quickly. The library is decent, though some handbooks are in limited supply. Hostel food is acceptable at the beginning of the academic year, but its quality declines over time, sometimes with stones in the food and poor quality vegetables. Although they claim to have gym facilities, there is no equipment in the gym.
Faculty: Our teachers are very good and well-qualified, mostly holding Ph.D. or M.Tech degrees. They are supportive and approachable, often treating students like friends. However, some lack organizational skills, class management, professionalism, and ethics.
Other: I chose Mechanical Engineering because of my passion for becoming a mechanical engineer. However, the syllabus we are studying is outdated, covering content that is 25 to 30 years old. With advancements in machines and mechanisms, the syllabus should be updated.

It is a good college to get admission in.
Placements: Triveni turbines and Jindal steel works, Wipro, Infosys, clarivate, dxc, etc. are the top recruiting companies. The highest package is INR 14 Lacs per annum in Samsung company and INR 11.5 Lacs per annum in Amadeus company. Many companies are coming with good packages and many students are placed in different companies with good package.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is good and sport ground is also there is our campus and we have gym facility in boys hostel and playing area. We have 4 block which bhadra and bhramaputra and other two block are good and we have many lab facility and which provide good education to us and many computer which good skills and we have Wi-Fi with 20mbps and open air theater where any small function are performed.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and supportive. Specially mechanical teachers are very helpful to the students and very good with students. We cannot define our teacher's efforts in words. They provide good study material which is very helpful to the students .
Other: Every year explorika is celebrated in our college and we have silver jubilee and we have branch wise activities every week. We have too much fun. We have many students and they make the events fun and well organized.

Our college provides good placements.
Placements: Almost 50-60% of students got placed in IT companies. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Capgemini, Sonata Software, etc. Many students got internships in this course. The top roles offered are analyst and software engineer.
Infrastructure: This college needs little improvement in hostel infrastructure and classrooms. The canteen is newly built. Sports are also conducted in this college. New infrastructure is also been built with new renovated library and roads inside this college. Medical assistance is also provided 24X7.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, well qualified, and knowledgeable with good expertise. The course curriculum is not updated. But it makes students industry-ready with some IT subjects like Java and Python. Semester exams are not difficult if we study properly.
Other: Mechanical is the mother of all engineering branches. Some coding languages would be better if it is added to this course. Fests are also good in this college.

Review of BITM - Ballari Institute of Technology and Management.
Placements: In our college, placements are excellent and we get a lot of opportunities. The highest salary package offered is 22 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like CTC, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, DXC, Triveni Turbine, etc., visit our campus. In this college, the courses offered are mechanical, electrical, E&C, civil, and computer science.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the hostel and college 24X7. The hostel is equipped with spacious rooms, beds, and storage cupboards. The library has a large collection of books. The whole college and hostel are provided with 24X7 electricity. The water is clean.
Faculty: Our teachers are excellent. They are friendly and have a very keen knowledge of subjects. They are approachable. The course is filled with outdoor and indoor knowledge which makes us industry-ready. They are also providing mock tests for everyone.
Other: I chose the mechanical course because I am interested in the core companies.

It is one of the good colleges in Ballari district.
Placements: The college had good exposure to placement opportunities. The recruiting companies were Wipro, Bosch, Infosys, Capgemini, DXC, and core companies in their respective fields. The placement cell was completely active and would give you proper guidance, support, and good placement training.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities were good with acceptable charges in our college. You will have a good amount of CC cameras for 24*7 surveillance. You can find good security personnel. Strict rules and regulations were to be abided by the students. Food was served and cooked with neat maintainence and hygiene.
Faculty: You can expect good standards of teaching with highly dedicated staff members who have pursued their master's and Ph.D. in their respective fields. The facilities were available throughout the college hours for any kind of support and assistance. Faculty members had good subject knowledge.
