It is a good college with awesome infrastructure.

Placements: More than 70% of students got placed last year. The highest package offered is 10 Lacs per annum, and the average package is 4.2 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, KPMG, Cognizant and others. There are many internship opportunities from top companies.

Infrastructure: There are many facilities like college buses, Wi-Fi, well-equipped laboratories, digital classrooms, and a library. Both boys' and girls' hostels are located inside the campus, and there is a health care center inside the campus. The food quality is good.

Faculty: The college has well-qualified faculty members, and their teaching is very good. There are many courses like computer science, information science, electrical and communication, civil engineering, mechanical engineering etc. Semester exams are a bit difficult, and the passing percentage is 70-80%.

Other: Our college fest called Kalotsava is held every year. Students can get SSP scholarships.

Our college infrastructure is good, and the teachers are friendly, but placements must be increased.

Placements: Only 2% of the students from our course got placed. Core companies don't visit our college for placements. The highest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. None of the companies visits here for mechanical engineering. TCS is the only company which recruit students from our college. The top roles in our course are offered in the IT sector. I don't know about the highest, lowest and average salary packages offered in our course. Mechanical students were not placed. About 40% of the students got internships in various industries in Bengaluru.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is normal, but they charge Rs. 5,000 for it. Labs are good, and the classrooms are well spacious. Our college has the best library and good playground. The canteen is good, and only a few people eat there. Medical facilities are good as there is a hospital on the campus. Our college also has a bank.

Faculty: Some teachers here are qualified, good experienced and friendly, but some lectures keep a grudge on students. The course curriculum is fine, and the management will fail students in exams. About 70% of the students fail in 2-3 subjects every year, and they charge the amount for the summer courses.

Other: I chose this course because mechanical engineering is the best, and I had an interest in it. But after joining the case is different as we won't be placed in companies. I wish that the teaching method must be redefined. Events and fests organised here were the best, but due to the new principal, they are not organising anything like cultural activities, sports, fests, etc.

There are good placement, good faculty, a good campus, no ragging and a wonderful infrastructure.

Placements: There are good placement in this college nearly 80%of the students get selected in campus interviews. Many multinational IT companies comes for camlus selection. The highest salary from this college 60000 and the least salary from this college is nearly 28000.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is wonderful. The classrooms are clean. The library of college is so beautiful and has manh books in it. There are two grounds in the college one is for cricket and the other one is for football. There are two hostel one is for 2nd,3rd and for final year students.

Faculty: The students are very polite with the students and very teacher is graduated with a M.Tech degree and hod's holding with a Ph.D. degree in tier respective field. We will be going for industrial visit near surroundings industries. The teaching quality is wonderful here.

Other: There are so many like kalotsava, branch fests, tantra and so many. Scholarships are provided by the college.

My mechanical engineering journey in SSIT.

Placements: The placement opportunities are few, but they are trying to improve now. For our mechanical branch, there are no placements, but our faculty will guide us to get jobs off-campus. They have many connections in the industrial areas. Our branch placement co-ordinator, Punith tried his level best to resolve the placement problems. It is due to his efforts that we have improved regarding our placement problems.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and is the 2nd best, next to SIT, in Tumkur city. We can have more benefits regarding the central library. Any information we need is published on the notice board.

Faculty: The faculty are very good, their relationship with the students is the best. They have a better knowledge of the subjects, and their teaching is awesome. They keep us updated from time to time. Our principal, Dr M.K.Veeraiah, is the best principal I have ever seen. He always wants to give the best to the students, listens to all our problems and also allows us to pay the college fee in instalments.

Other: Though SSIT is a good university, SIT has better placements, and hence it is better to join in SIT. In case of SSIT, we have to opt for off-campus placements, and that is a little risky. So, better score well in CET and join SIT.

Decrement of placement compared to previous batches.

Placements: Placement is for only IT sectors. No placements for core. These days, the demand for software engineers is more, so they got placed and rest of the students are struggling for a job. But the students from any branch can get a job in software industries.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The student and teacher relation is very good. All facilities regarding education are very much good. Internship is provided through the college faculty members. The central library here is amazing and it consists of more than 10000 books.

Faculty: Faculty members in this college are friendly. It depends on the branches. The faculty members for core branch are very much friendly and good while other branch faculty members are very strict. But they all are very strict regarding course completion. The syllabus should be completed within the semester.

Other: Overall, this college is awesome. As we know the college means fun, so here all types of enjoyment and fun are present. But be aware of alcoholic stuff. 7 out of 10 are addicted to alcohol. It depends on the student, not the environment. Whatever it is, it's been a great journey here.

Other: College is really good. Campus is full of green with centre attraction of globe library.. Nice canteen and coffee day. . Good playing grounds. And mechanical department is really good and best department in SSIT You will enjoy 4 years of learning and lecturers having great knowledge.

Other: Infrastructure of the college are very nice. The library is one of its kind and well equipped too. Labs are good and almost have everything in it. Rest everything is really very bad from placement to faculty and administration of the college is very bad, the college crowd is worst.

Review of SSIT - Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology.

Placements: Only 10-20% of the students from our course got placed. Top-notch companies like TCS and Wipro hired candidates from the campus interview, but the salary packages offered were not good. The lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA while the highest salary package offered range 6 LPA - 8 LPA. Very less good companies show interest in recruitment for our courses. But college helps in getting internships every year. Almost 98% of the students got internships in various companies in Bangalore and Chennai.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the entire campus was amazing. It was beautiful with full, lush green environment. The entire campus was Wi-Fi enabled. But they charge a good amount for this, labs and classrooms were clean and perfect for modern learning. Our college had a huge library with almost all the books, but sometimes books were not enough for every student to study especially during exam times.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were qualified and knowledgeable. They were very helpful and treated students like their children. They always encouraged students to study and do something extraordinary. Their teaching skills were very good. They focus on quality teaching then quantity teaching. The course curriculum was also fine, but need some changes to compete with other colleges and can help in boosting placements.
