It has a good infrastructure but dissatisfied with placements of core companies in the year 2018.
Placements: Almost 40% of the students get placed from our college. The highest salary offered was of Rs. 20,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was of Rs. 10,000 per month. The average salary offered was of Rs. 14,000 per month.3. Infosys, Sanria and NICE were the top recruiting com[panies of our college. The roles offered were as a business management trainee and a sales representative. In our course, the highest salary package offered was of 2 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.1 LPA, an average salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. Almost 70% of the students got an internship in companies like Wipro, Balaji, Chaitanya Engineering works and in companies around Mysore zone.
Infrastructure: 1. Infrastructure is good, no Wi-Fi I don't but they are not provided, maintenance of labs are quite good it's need to improvement in machine tool like lathe Machine and also some quality of standard to be maintained, classroom and projector are good enough and also nice library they provided single table for study for 20 people it is available in library first floor so you can read whatever your interested subjects wants to read, environment of college good and also no ragging in my college, and every year they conducted fest means it's like annual day it's good and in this fest you can seen DJ and colourful lightings and the guests were belongs to and there is a canteen it's good in quality but quite expensive 2. No medical, don't know about medical facilities, and this college under VTU so everyyear conducted indoor and outdoor games but it's lots of improvement is needed in sports and Games compared Mysuru zone as well as the vtu, and the hostel I am not much heard about that but the boys hostel is 2km away from the college, around 50 thousand per year and past 2 to 3 year once you enter the college without silly reason you cannot go outside they provided bio metric system for the lectures not for the students so it's better and also it's.
Faculty: 1. During my studies, around 20 lecturers in my batch course 50% are knowledgeable quality teaching only and yes some lecturer in department are helpful, because in my batch faculty are qualified lecturer but it's need to improvement is needed because in compared to Mysuru zone in other colleges it need to improvement in syllabus as well as quality of teaching 2. No it's been old model syllabus it's not for present industry ready, but concept is relevant Because concept must understood every one but not for the job oriented course you need extra add software and internship ready for the GATE exams then u must thinking is good enough.
Other: The infrastructure of our college was good, but there wasn't a Wi-Fi connection provided. Maintenance of labs was quite good. Improvement in machine tools like Lathe Machine and also some quality of standard to be maintained are needed. Classroom and projectors were good enough. There was a good library in which they provided a single table to study for 20 students. There was a library on the first floor also so students can read whatever subject they were interested in. The environment of the college was good. Ragging was not allowed at our campus. There was a canteen which was good in quality but was a bit expensive. I don't know about the medical facility provided by the college. This college is under VTU, so every year they conducted indoor and outdoor games. But a lot of improvement is needed in sports and games when compared Mysore zone as well as the VTU. I don't know much about the hostel, but the boys' hostel is 2 km away from the college, and they charge a fee of Rs. 50,000 per year. Since the past 2 to 3 years the college is using the biometric system for students and not for lecturers, so you cannot go out of the college for simple reasons.

Review of Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Placements in our college were satisfactory. 41 students were placed from our batch. 15 were into core companies, and the rest of them were into IT or BPO. I was offered placements from an IT company and a core company at Bengaluru. Companies like Infosys, Amazon, Dell, and HP visited the campus. A job fair was also conducted in our college. Many students were into BPO too.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is really good. There is an auditorium. Labs are well-equipped. The campus area is good. 20 cabs are provided on the campus. Construction work was going on for horse riding and other activities. Classrooms have projectors to give powerpoint presentations. Mechanical labs had all the equipment. Lab instructors were good.
Faculty: The faculty in our college were really good and highly qualified. We got good support from them both in academics as well as in placements. We had IEEE, ISHRAE and ISME groups. The college organised industrial visits. We got an opportunity to go for internships. We went for internships in every semester holidays. It was very good as we got industry exposure.
Other: Vidya Vikas conducted a fest known as Gravity. It was really successful. Rahu, Dixit, Shirley Setia and other singers were invited to the college. Our college provides a scholarship based on grades of students.

Real Review of vidya vikas institute of engineering and tech.
Placements: Not upto the mark. But the placement and HRD will hard try to attract many mainstream MNC for the recruitment. Usually CS and IS have a better chances of getting placed. Fortunately when I was passed out, folks from mechanical engineering also got placed.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi availability is a fake news that the college spreads. Classrooms are well-equipped with projectors and benches. Benches are styled as if we are in a school. Not all the classrooms have a working projector. Never heard of any medical rooms to be present in the entire college, but each department has its own first aid kit. College does not encourage sports that much. Their main aim is to be ranked first in the Mysore region.
Faculty: Faculty are really knowledgeable, although there is a drawback in allotting lectures for the subject of their specialisation. There will always be a MS match in the subject and the lecturer alloted to teach it. This is a major drawback of this institute. And the emphasis is more on theoretical knowledge, which are not really applied in the real world.
Other: Every year there be an annual college festival. It's quite good. No scholarships are awarded. Library facilities are restricted based on your categories (caste based) not all the books can be borrowed by a general merit student. Campus is huge. Parking facilities are pathetic, so is the water facility.

The campus and infrastructure are awesome. Dissatisfied with the faculty. The placements are okay.
Placements: The placements are more than good in the mechanical engineering department. Most of the companies don't visit for us, but the college makes sure to send us to the other college pool campus placement. If the overall percentage is good, we may have the opportunity to place in the MNC's.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is awesome in the college. Recently, they have built a new auditorium inside the college to encourage extracurricular activities. All the labs of all the departments are well-equipped according to the syllabus. Of course, there is no Wi-Fi facility in the college for the students. The classrooms are big enough for about 120 students, and even the last benchers can hear the lecture.
Faculty: The teachers in the mechanical department are good when I was studying. Recently, I heard that many of the professors have left the college. I don't know anything about the current professors. The HOD offers decent support to students. The department is not as strict as another department.
Other: The campus is big and awesome. Every year, there will be fest and also some sports activities. There will also be an ethnic day.

Good infrastructure with good faculty but placements are low.
Placements: Placements are below average as only IT companies come for the recruitment. For core branches, hardly one or two companies visit the campus. Most of the campus drives are pooled, so the chances of our college students getting placed decreases. The number of companies which come for recruitment is also very few. The college provides pre-placement training, which is a good thing for the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. There are well-ventilated classrooms with projectors, and the labs are well-equipped with good instruments. The college has a good library with a wide range of books and materials. The quality of food available is good and the hostel facility provided is also good with all facilities.
Faculty: The faculty members are very good. They have subjects and they help a lot with their respective subjects. All of them are well-qualified and they don't mind to spend time in clearing our doubts. We had a few industrial visits which were helpful to us in understanding how we should prepare ourselves to match the industry requirements.

Mysore's most elegant engineering college, you'll find really great learning opportunities.
Placements: Almost two to three graduates have been successfully placed in core companies. The lowest package offered is 1 lakh per annum, while the highest seems to be between 4 and 5 lakhs per annum. Companies like Cap Gemini, TCS, and other top-tier companies approach us with better packages. The mechanical engineering department offers opportunities to ensure betterment in coding skills, machine shop skills, and workshop skills. The facilities come with a heavy load of internship opportunities and encourage technical skills.
Infrastructure: The mechanical department offers a machine shop, a workshop, an energy conversion lab, a material testing lab, etc. The college library has a wide collection of materials. The classroom with smart classes ensures a better understanding of the subjects. The hostel has hot water, clean drinking water, a delicious mess, everyday sanitation, a common washroom, and private washrooms for two B.Ed rooms. The canteen offers great food at a reasonable cost. The sports community picks up the various events and organises them. There is a student yoga class with arts.
Faculty: The teachers have PhDs and Masters. They come up with unique teaching methods and aspire to make the students' creativity better. The course prepares the students to be industry-ready. The college comes under the Visweswaraya Technical University. The exams aim at outcome-based learning.
Other: The college has a huge area and better infrastructure. The college conducts Vistaara College Fest every year in the even semester.

Our college is good, but our branch is not good.
Placements: Placements are not good here, and only students who have high academic percentage get placed. Our branch should have good placement co-coordinators, and they should improve students placement skills. But they are not doing, and there are the worst placements in our college. I think I will never get placed from our college.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are very good in our college, and they provide good interest to study. There is no Wi-Fi facility on the campus. However, the library is good and has a lot of different types of books, but they are old. So, they should provide new books for the new syllabus, and I think there are no medical facilities.
Faculty: The teaching is not up to the mark in our college, and faculty members don't know to convey their knowledge to students. Our branch course curriculum is the worst compared to other branches. It is not good, and students get less knowledge about the branch. Our college should improve the teaching level.

I should say my college has given a new life.
Placements: In our college especially for our branch we will get a good placement opportunities. The only criteria that one should be very confident and also should have good communication skills and a Basic Technical knowledge. Also for some companies one should maintain a minimum Aggregate of 60%.
Infrastructure: Our college provides one of the best infrastructure and it has a very good library facilities which consists of all types of book. Our college has Wi-Fi enabled with good speed and our college has good support for all the sports. They will encourage us in all manner. Our college has a very good canteen and all the food provided there are affordable at minimum price.
Faculty: In engineering colleges I should say that the teacher can only guide us and one should have their own interests towards it and focus on it. There are some good faculty members in our branch and they will guide us properly and clarify our doubt. Our faculty members use projector to explain a working of some machines and all our faculty members are well qualified and help students.
Other: I should proudly say that our college fest is one of the best and we arrange a lot of events and involvement of all the students are also good.
