Surprised campus placement this year in our college. Industrial visits will start soon.
Placements: ATME College of engineering has now become a good engineering institute after the NBA committee has certified our college as an NBA accredited with 'A' grade. After this we are getting good placement in our college, with min. Salary package of 4.7 Lacs p. a. The highest package is 5.5 at present and the placement percentage will be around 70%. Internships are also going good. Recruiters of our college are Infosys, Tata, Cognizant, Triveni gears, CAD centre, Ashoke Leyland, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities in our department is useful for us. Lab facilities are good with good lab instructors. Classrooms are good and clean with a nice environment around the college and in our department. And also canteen facility is there. Every year sports day is organised. Medical facility is there in our college for any health problem.
Faculty: 1) Yes, All the teachers are good at teaching and experienced. The professors are graduates from good institute in Karnataka.
2) Yes, The course curriculum is relevant. It is helpful for the students and makes them industry ready.
Other: Ou college will soon provide industrial trips for the students.

Overall, the college should improve its placements.
Placements: Since the college was established 5-6 years ago, there are no highly recommended companies visiting to offer jobs. There is an average placement rate of about 10% to 20%. Since the college is growing, I could see better companies visiting our college. The college has a placement cell where students are trained. Until now, most of the roles offered by the companies are related to software and design. More than 50% of the students get their internships offered by the college and even from other sources. Overall, I would say that there will be more opportunities for upcoming students.
Infrastructure: ATME College of Engineering has the best plans for infrastructure. Since it is newly built, it has everything that a college requires. Still, some part of the college is yet to be built. The college provides you with all the facilities that include Wi-Fi, labs with new equipment, and other facilities. Canteen is the main attraction of our college. Classrooms are provided with projectors and other things. The college doesn't provide a hostel facility as there are not many non-local students. So the rest of the students stay as paying guests.
Faculty: Most of the teachers in the college are qualified and skilled. So there's not much problem with the faculty members. Every teacher has their way of teaching, and it is effective for most of the students. We have visited many industries like JTDC, Automotive, etc. The course curriculum is set by VTU so students can't blame the college for deficiencies in the curriculum. We need to study all the subjects included in it.
Other: The events are really exciting as many celebrities are invited to the events. There's an average crowd on campus, and students get to interact with each other. The college organises business training classes in the first year of our course where you need to form a team and compete with each other. So there's an automatic connection formed among students. The campus is quite far away from the city, except that, surroundings of the campus are awesome. Film shootings are done in our college. Scholarships are provided for students who do well in exams. The odd semester consists of various extracurricular activities for entrepreneurship.

Not satisfied with the placements. The infrastructure is huge and good. Facilities are good.
Placements: Every year, the placements are quite good, but no core companies visit the college for recruitment. This year, a company named Go Speedy Go from Bhubaneshwar, Orissa has visited the college. It's an automobile based company. It had recruited 13 students from the mechanical engineering stream. They offered a salary package of 4.75 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college is spread in a vast area, and there are separate blocks for basic science, mechanical, electrical, civil, electronics and communications and computer science engineering departments. Our college has a good cafeteria which serves good quality food. The college has playgrounds for cricket, volleyball, and softball. Though improvements can be made in the college, it's still a fast lying developing college.
Faculty: Our mechanical department has good and experienced male faculty members. The faculty members are friendly and supportive. The course curriculum is designed by VTU as our college is affiliated to the University of VTU. Our faculty members help us to learn and improve each and every day. Counselling sessions are organised for all the students by the faculty members, which helps us to improve.
Other: The college and departments organise many events and workshops. At the end of the year, every department organises a fest, and one common fest is organised grandly. The campus is located on the outskirts of Mysore, and this is a disadvantage to the students. However, the climate is pleasant and peaceful. The college gives importance to sports, and the students practice every evening. ATME boys have bagged the first prize, and we were the winners for three years in softball competitions.

Infrastructure: Beautiful campus with a lush green clean and eco-friendly campus. The college is located in the outskirts be of Mysore that offers no diversions for students for their learning. Has canteen, medical facilities with smart classrooms built in it. There is sufficient initiative taken for the sports activities on the campus. A lot of students participate as VTU representatives.
