Wonderful curriculum with great placements.

Placements: I am a student of the BITS Pilani 2023 batch. There are about 1000 students in my batch, and among them, 120–150 belong to my branch (electrical electronic engineering). The top recruiting companies are and the roles offered are circuit designer, etc. The average package offered is 20 LPA.

Infrastructure: The course curriculum is perfectly designed and suitable for all students who enjoy studying. Coming to the life and infrastructure, students enjoy a lot in their hostel with their friends and enjoy moving around on campus by playing a lot of games.

Faculty: The faculty on my campus is very friendly and educated; they are in a position to clarify any doubt that a student has and never feel irritated in doing so. They are like friends to the students, and the pass percentage here is also very reasonable (4.5 GPA).

Other: The course is on my interest and the best course for me. Coming to the events and festivals conducted on our campus, I really love them. There will be around 6 festivals and events for a semester, and they are conducted very well.

A student will year to learn more over here.

Placements: About 90% of the students were placed in the year 2022-23. Majority of the students were hire by top multinational companies, such as Intel, Qualcomm, Nvidia, etc. To name a few, in my branch. About 60% of the students in my branch who attended the 'Practice School' summer internship were offered pre placement offers. The average package was 28.5 LPA and the highest package offered was 51.03 LPA.

Infrastructure: The quality of food in the mess is not very good. Many a times, small insects have been found in the food, which have caused students a lot of health issues. Other than that, there is no variety of food in the mess, so the students have to forcibly pay for food outside the mess which is available in the food joints inside the campus. The laboratories are equipped with the latest technology, and the Wi-Fi is spread all throughout the campus, offering high-speed internet.

Faculty: About 96% of the students managed to pass the comprehensive examinations this year. The course is quite updated in our college, so the students have an apt industrial knowledge required for them to get internships and placements in companies. The majority of teachers in our college have a doctorate degree, and many of them are conducting research alongside with students often. They are quite knowledgeable and one can reach out to them for any queries.

Other: The students at BITS - Pilani, Hyderabad Campus have the freedom to choose their own class timings and subject teachers, a unique concept which might not be present in other engineering colleges at this point of time.

Nice exposure and learning experiences.

Placements: The highest package offered in our course is INR 60 LPA, the average package is INR 25 LPA, and the lowest package offered is INR 10 LPA. The top job roles offered to students in our branch include software engineer roles, telecommunication engineer roles, and VLSI engineer roles. Students may also go into non-core job profiles, which include consultant and managerial roles. Students usually get internships starting at the end of their second year.

Infrastructure: The food available in the mess has limited choices and variations. However, there are many fast-food vendors and shops available just outside the mess where you can enjoy a variety of food at a reasonable rate. Along with that, we have a food court in the Old Academic block where food items ranging from waffles to street food are available. The hostel rooms are spacious and have sufficient facilities, such as common rooms, ample washrooms and shower rooms, newspaper stands, visitor rooms, etc. For sports and games, there are a total of 4 grounds available for cricket, football, hockey, etc., along with tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts. For indoor games, the Student Activity Center is available, which has many indoor sports facilities such as squash, badminton, snooker, table tennis, chess, a gym, and others.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified, with almost all of the senior faculty holding doctorates in their subjects. Many teachers are ready to help the students; however, it can't be said about all the teachers. The teaching methodology used by the teachers is mostly theoretical; however, frequent practical sessions and industry visits help students visualize their learning path. The semester exams in the college are moderately difficult; almost all the students manage to pass the examination without much difficulty.

Other: The reason for choosing this course is the reputation of BITS as a brand, which gives its students a lot of exposure. A lot of extracurricular activities are present on campus, which gives students many opportunities to find their interests at this college.

Excellent faculty but irrelevant course.

Placements: Almost 95% of the students in the EEE branch were placed this year. Most of the students placed went for SDE roles and consultant roles. The highest package for EEE was 51 Lacs, and Average package was 28 Lacs. The lowest package was 10 Lacs. Students have got internship in top companies such as Nvidia, Microsoft and Amazon.

Infrastructure: Hostels are lacking a lot of basic facilities, such as common refrigerators, washing machines, OTG, lift etc. However, there are sports facilities inside hostels, including badminton, volleyball, table tennis, chess, snooker, etc. The quality of food in mess is good, and majority of students have no issues with both the messes in the campus. However, there is a lack of variety in the mess at times. There are food stalls present in the mess that run till late in the night.

Faculty: The teachers are ready to help students with their doubts after lectures or in their 'chamber consultation hours', where a student can anonymously reach out teachers regarding any issues that they might be facing in the subject. There are frequent guest lecturers visiting the campus to deliver industrial exposure to students, and many workshops are held time-to-time to give a hands-on experience to students in the topics that they are theoretically studying.

Other: The course that we are taught is very theoretical in nature, and can disinterest students who are not able to comprehend bookish knowledge easily, so the course should be made more practical.

Satisfied by Faculty, Placements and Campus crowd.

Placements: Most of the students in Electronics and related branches go for software engineer roles in top firms that visit our campus. The top companies that visit our campus include Amazon, Texas Instruments and Meesho. Most of the CTCs offered by these companies vary anywhere between 30-45 Lacs. The highest package is 60 Lacs inr. 100% of the students receive an internship, and many of these students receive pre placement offers as well.

Infrastructure: The newer hostels boast better facilities and infrastructure than the ones which were constructed during the initial years of the college. The mess food is of acceptable quality, but it misses out on a lot of variety, and the menu feel quite repetitive after a few weeks. Library is huge, and the medical center has all the facilities that a medical clinic provides.

Faculty: The semester exams are not much difficult. Students can easily use the chamber consultation hours provided by the professors to consult with them regarding any difficulties that they may face in their subject. Library is kept open till 1 AM in the morning during the examination weeks. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant to what we require to apply in the actual industrial scenarios.

Other: The events are the main attraction of the college. Campus is surrounded by greenery all around, so the air quality is really good.
