Placements: Placements of BITS Hyderabad are very good at around 91% and throughout the years, it has also seen a constant rise. Overall Average CTC for BITS Hyderabad is around 20LPA. Top recruiters include Atlassian, Dell, Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, Oracle, Adobe, etc.

Infrastructure: Hostels at BITS are clean and spacious. Each hostel also includes common rooms with indoor games like air hockey and table tennis, and outside courts for badminton and volleyball. Mess food is a well-balanced meal and made in hygienic places. The medical centre is open 24/7, and also ambulances come to the hostel gate in case of emergency. Courts and other playing facilities are well-maintained for every sport.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Students can visit their chambers at given hours for one-to-one doubt clearing as well as in either lectures or tutorial sessions. Semester exams can be a bit stressful because of the good competition, but students also help each other alongside the faculty.

Other: To counter the stress due to exams, we have many fests in college. ATMOS and Pearl are the main fests that happen every year.

Exceptional placements and infrastructure.

Placements: More than 90% of the students were placed in the year 2022-23 in our course. Students have opted for a variety of roles, such as data analysts, consultant roles, developed roles and others. The highest package offered to the student in our course has been INR 51 lacs CTC, and the average package offered was INR 23 lacs CTC. The companies which hire from our course include Meesho, Flipkart, Genpact, etc.

Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi connectivity is present throughout the campus. The lecture halls, classrooms, and library are all centrally air-conditioned. The campus is well-maintained, with a good amount of greenery present all around the campus, and the buildings also have beautiful architecture. The hostels have all the basic facilities available. There is also a medical center on campus, which has the facility of 24x7 ambulance service.

Faculty: The course curriculum is revised annually to allow new courses to be introduced with advances in engineering and sciences. The semester examinations in the college are application-based, so practical and interactive learning are given much importance.

Other: Entrepreneurship among students is a growing interest in our college, and the clubs dedicated to it are organizing many workshops and programs to accelerate it.

Review of Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, Hyderabad.

Placements: The placement process is extremely successful. About 150 large and medium-sized companies visit our campus every year to recruit our students who are interested in securing jobs through campus placements succeed in doing so. This ensures that they have their career charted before they are done with their graduation. I am a second-year student, and I will be graduating in the year 2022. But as far as our seniors are concerned, the highest salary package offered was about 39 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was about 7 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is tremendous. The feeling that it gives is never enthralling. We have a whole lot of facilities which in turn may make our campus into a mini-civilization. For study purpose, we have a very huge library which can accommodate around 3000 members easily. There is an open amphitheatre, an auditorium for recreational and official purposes. We are provided with a lot of sports facilities like tennis, volleyball, cricket, badminton and many more.

Faculty: Professors in the college are not only considered on their teaching basis, but they are also judged by their research quality during their selection. Professors here are highly qualified as they come from IITs, NITs and various other high standard institutes in the country. They teach very slow so that every person can understand. Not only the old methods of a blackboard, but they also use slides and presentations to create interest in the students. This kind of curriculum is diverse, and we opt for the subjects of our own irrespective of the branch. This can be done only if you are done with the subjects of your branch.

Absolutely satisfied because of good placements, awesome industry exposure and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements of our senior batch were decent, as it depends mostly on the caliber of student, many were able to bag lucrative offers from dream companies in the first few weeks of placement season. Students who got placed in dream week got offers >10 lakhs per annum, and got placed in the first two weeks of the season. About more than 90% of the batch was placed, of which there was 99% placement in IT, companies from other sectors also recruited like analytics, finance, management etc. Highest package- 35 LPA - Nutanix. Lowest package- 4.5 LPA. Average salary offered- 11 LPA. Some of the best companies visiting- Nutanix, Amazon, Flipkart, Adobe, Directi, Morgan Stanley, Oracle, Paypal, Walmart Labs, Microsoft, DE SHAW, Arcesium, Swiggy, Zomato, Jivox, Smartprix, Service now, Netapp, Mathworks, Fiorano. Other companies visiting- Capgemini, GGK Tech, Oracle Financial Services, Crowd chat, Zennotti. Roles offered- software development, app/web development, analyst. %age of students who got internships is 100% as BITS provides compulsory graded 6-month internships to all students in top tier companies like Nvidia, Nutanix, Amazon, Oracle, etc. However, there were about 6% of the students in pre-final year who got summer internships on-campus.

Infrastructure: Most parts of the campus are WiFi-enabled. We have a great library with more than 30,000 books. We have one of the biggest auditoriums in the country and the best of labs, everything is fully air-conditioned. When it comes to infrastructure, our college is one of the best in the country. The classrooms are wide and air conditioned, we have our own medical center and branch of State Bank of Hyderabad. Sports- We have a great basketball and tennis court, and ground for other sports like cricket, football, hockey etc. We have a student activity center, which has a gym, Table tennis room, dance room, chess, pool and many others. Food in canteen- It is decent in variety. Everyone is allotted a single room. I had no issues related to infrastructure, so far it has been great.

Faculty: Faculty members are qualified, most of them are PhDs and some have also completed their post- doctoral programmes. So they are sure qualified and knowledgeable but I think some of them can improve the quality of teaching. Teaching methods- slides, presentations, lab demonstrations, evaluative assignments etc. Student to faculty ratio- 30:1. Industry exposure- a lot, we have two graded components which provide industry training- Practice School 1 (2 months in the summer break post sophomore year) and Practice School 2 (6-months during the final year), both of which are great as we get the best of companies and the best of projects. The course curriculum is useful.

An excellent college which contains only the merit.

Placements: Nearly 85 percent of the students were placed last year in our campus. All the top MNCs like Google, Amazon, Apple, Wipro, Nivedan, Airtel have recruited in students from our campus, Nearly 95 percent of the students have got internship in their last year.

Infrastructure: Our campus has top notch sports facilities like football ground, Cricket nets and cricket ground, AC classrooms, Hockey field, volleyball courts, tennis courts, Basketball courts, indoor badminton courts, squash courts, Top class Library, Wonderful Auditorium. The food is really good compared to other IITs. The quality of the room depends on your sense of cleanliness.

Faculty: The teachers are exceptionally qualified and they have multiple doctorates and they teach upto date industry standard curriculum with practical labs. The semester exam are not exactly tough, but require you to work your way to the solution but not easy either .
