For eligibility, candidates are required to have completed their Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate. Accordingly, the seventh and eighth semesters are planned so that a candidate gets an MSc degree at the end of the tenth semester.

As per the elgibility criteria released by the IITs, It is mandatory to have minimum 75% marks (65% for reserved category) in class 12 to take admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.
