B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028
3.8
Top 5 in Bengaluru and nice exposure.
Placements: In our batch of 28 around 70 to 80 percent of the students got placed for an average package of 7 LPA-9 LPA. The top companies that come to college are AWS, Lower, and Nokia. The highest package is 24 LPA whereas the lowest is at 3 LPA. On average the students those who worked hard are now placed and have a nice life.
Infrastructure: The hostel is pretty nice. You will get a nice meal 4 times a day, breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. There is Wi-Fi 24/7 which you can use and has no restrictions. The time at night is 9:30 PM but if due to a valid reason and you come they will ask for your sign at the register then let you in.
Faculty: The faculty are really supportive and nice. If you want to have any idea such as to host an event, take part in any hackathon, or even host a hackathon of your own they support you and help you in that. If there is any academic help that you need such as solving doubts or learning concepts they will help.

BMSIT review - decent placement, good infrastructure.
Placements: The percentage of students placed this year is almost 75 to 80%. The average package is 7 to 8 LPA in CSE. There are many good companies visiting this year, like Rapido, Uber, Microsoft, etc. The top roles offered are for the web development role. The highest package is 22 LPA, with the lowest ranging from 3 to 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well ventilated, and there is 5G Wi-Fi in every classroom. The infrastructure is good, and there are facilities like a gym and a mentor. The food in the hostel is quite decent. There is a medical facility available in the college, and the doctor visits every day.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified in this college, and most of the teachers are helpful, leaving one or two. The teaching quality is good. The curriculum is a little bit outdated because the VTU curriculum is itself outdated. It makes student job ready because we have studied DSA in the 2nd sem. The semester exams are easy to medium level. The pass percentage is approximately 70 to 80%.

College and placements are good. It is too crowded.
Placements: Out of 1040 senior students, more than 800 students are placed. The highest package offered is 30 LPA, and the average package offered is 8 LPA. It depends on skills of students. If we have good skills, then we can get placed with a good package.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Labs are good. Classrooms for the first-year students are okay. After the first year, another block will be kept for students, as it is good with infrastructure. The library is good. Food is also good, but students came from different states like Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and North India, so it depends on one-on-one.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Some teachers are not that good. But if we ask for help from them, they will help us confidently. Semester exams are moderate. If we study one day before, we can also get more than 9 CGPA, but for coding languages, we should have a minimum knowledge.

A:

BMS Institute of Technology and Management COMEDK Round 2 cutoff for Civil Engineering is 42483 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. The placements are improving, and the college is growing.
Placements: The top roles offered here are SDE and data analyst. Also, there are internships offered such as ML intern and data engineer intern. The top hiring companies are AWS, Microsoft, the Maths company, IBM, and Oracle. The highest CTC is 46 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: There are a total of 3 blocks in the boys' hostel, which is inside campus, and there is a girls' hostel too by the college, which is 3 kms away from the college, which has bus service to travel the distance. Overall, the hostel which is provided by the college is really good, and the food here is also good.
Faculty: Teachers here are mostly Ph.D. scholars and highly educated, which help us a lot in solving our doubts and guiding us for our career. The course curriculum is relevant to the latest trends in the industry, such as AI and ML development and web development.
Other: There are 2 main fests in the college. The first is the hostel fest called Kalarava, and the second is the college fest called Utsaha Vaibhava.

College life is very good.
Placements: DSA (data structures and algorithms), software development engineer (SDE), software engineer (SWE), web developer, data engineer, data analyst, full stack developer, consultant (Tech/IT Consultant), AI engineer, and DevOps/cloud roles are offered. The placement rate is 75 percent. Out of 900 students, over 500 got jobs through placements. Microsoft recruited many students from our campus.
Infrastructure: In our college Wi-Fi is good. Food is average. Hostel rooms are average. The best part is the college is filled with full of stress, so you get a good environment. Infrastructure is average. The only disadvantage is that there is no proper cricket ground. There is different food every month, they change the timetable of food every month or every 3 months.
Faculty: Faculty is good. Their teaching is good. But they do not give proper notes to study, we need to make our own notes for exams. But their teaching is perfect. Exam guidelines given by teachers are very useful. They provide motivation and conduct many competitions like hackathons, workshops, and provide free internships.
Other: I love the technology side of a career, so I chose this branch, which is the core of technology.

This college might have its problems, but in terms of exposure to the real world, this is best place
Placements: The highest package is 36 LPA last year, but this year it is 50 LPA from Microsoft. The average package is 5 LPA, but this year it is 8 LPA. The lowest package is 5 LPA, but this may no longer exist next year due to the large number of students. The college needs to get more jobs or give us better understanding and preparation to become more preferable candidates.
Infrastructure: There is a lack of good Wi-Fi facilities, but the college has a decent look. There is no inside hostel available due to the large number of students. There is also a lack of beds in the hostel, so you need to find your own accommodation. You should check for food facilities in your accommodation or ask the college about outside accommodation options.
Faculty: The teachers are the best. They provide good courses, proper guidance, and proper exposure to the real world. They motivate us and help us understand various ways to get a job with real-world exposure. They help us gain experience and graduate from college with knowledge. Some teachers have master’s degrees from different fields and let us explore different options. They help us stay motivated and see our way toward our selected option.
Other: There is a large intake in my year. The college seems to focus more on earning than placements. If the placement count remains the same, we might not even get placed in the first place. Even if we work hard and get placement, it could be low because they have many options to pick from and can choose anyone they want.

Really good environment to study with all the required facilities available.
Placements: Placements are decent, but seniors say the college is getting overcrowded. As of 2025 data (AIML course), the highest package was 23 LPA. The lowest was 3.25 LPA. The average was 8–9 LPA. Top recruiters include Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Samsung, Accenture, and Cognizant. Also, IBM, Siemens, Bosch Ltd, Sachs, PhonePe, Gameskraft, Atlassian, and SAP. Around 60–70 percent of students secure internships. The average stipend is Rs. 20,000–Rs. 30,000. Top roles include ML Engineer, Data Scientist, and Data Analyst.
Infrastructure: It has plenty of labs and two canteens, both serving good-quality food. There is an emergency medical room and stationery store. Every classroom has Wi-Fi, and the campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. It has four lifts for each block. Hostel fees are 1.35 lakhs. It has a free gym, badminton court, basketball court, volleyball court, throwball court, and football ground.
Faculty: The college has good teaching. Teachers are available and help us when needed. We can text or call them when we need help outside college hours. The syllabus is slightly different compared to other colleges, so it is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite difficult, and it is hard to score marks. The pass percentage is around 40%.
Other: I chose this course because it is the latest. The best thing is working with AI. AIML should be improved because it is trained on previously available data, so if the data is incorrect, it may behave incorrectly. Fests are not very frequent, but when they happen, they are good. The crowd is good, and connectivity is very good with frequent buses. The campus surroundings are decent. Scholarships are not sure. It also has NCC.

It's good. I'm satisfied till now. It's just my first year.
Placements: The placement record is quite good for last year. The placement percentage is above 75.37 percent for CSE. The highest package is 46 LPA and the average is 9 LPA which I think is pretty good. Recruiting companies are Amazon, Cognizant, and L&T Technologies. The top roles offered were SDE, data analyst, and full-stack developer.
Infrastructure: Class facilities are good. We have projectors and good Wi-Fi. We don't have to wear any particular college dress. Libraries are also fine. The college premises are a bit small. There is green everywhere it's like a mini forest. The facilities and infrastructure are quite good. We stay in PG of BMSIT. The hostel is not big enough to accommodate all the students inside. Mess is good though.
Faculty: The teachers are absolutely helpful. They helped the late joinee by providing them extra assistance with concern and kindness. In class too they are very helpful and willing to solve all students' problems. We are given a proctor to share our problems with who helps to solve them. Highly qualified teachers. The semester exams are not so difficult but you should have the habit of self-studying. The pass percentage is high. Faculty members are so far good.
