B.E. in CSE at BMS Institute of Technology and Management
Placements: If you are looking for placements BMSIT is a very good option. In the batch of 2023 93 percent of the students have landed good jobs. The highest package is 46.40LPA and the average package offered is 8.97LPA. 75 percent of the CSE students are placed. Even the internship opportunities are great with companies coming in to hire students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great with multiple buildings and multiple labs all of which have great internet and services available which can be used anytime. The library has a collection of books in every field with all the necessary textbooks references and an e library to browse research papers and more. The college hostels are great with proper cots and beds and also separate cupboards for each person. Hygienic food is provided to all. A sports room is available with all the components required to play and courts for badminton volleyball and basketball are available and a ground for cricket as well.
Faculty: All teachers are required to have a Ph.D. which is quite helpful because they have a wide knowledge of the subject they teach. Teachers are very friendly and solve all the doubts and are also available at all times. The curriculum is followed as per VTU and the exam criteria involve good testing of knowledge with scenario based real life learning.

Decent private college with good placements. Make your future bright.
Placements: The top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Infosys, Microsoft, Paytm, and Junglee Games. Mainly, the software and Android developers were hired. In our college, almost 70% to 80% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 44 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Here, placement depends on how much you have studied.
Infrastructure: The college has decent infrastructure with good Wi-Fi connections all over the campus. Labs are air-conditioned. Classrooms are good and well-cleaned. The library has a good collection of books from all departments. Accommodation in a hostel is very limited.
Faculty: The teachers are very good. Most of the teachers of BMSIT are PhD holders. They have vast knowledge in their respective domains. There are some teachers who try to make students industry-ready. Teachers support students in every subject. They put a lot of effort.
Other: The placement for this course is greater than for other courses. Basically, the Computer Science subject is the best. There are many events in the college, like Ustava Vaibhava, which is the biggest fest on campus. The campus crowd is large, and there is a lot of greenery.

Electrical Engineering life cycle for four years.
Placements: In my electrical branch, around 90-92% of students get placed with the highest salary of around 22 LPA, the lowest 2-3 LPA, and an average of 5-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies visiting here are Tata, Amazon, TCS, and many more. Around 80% of students get internship offers from companies like BHEL, BEL, and ISRO as well. Top roles include technical head positions as well as some roles in software development for those who know coding.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi in our college is of decent speed, around 50 Mbps, and is available everywhere. There are labs for every department such as Engineering, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and many more. Classrooms are well spaced, and the library is well organized and situated in the BSN block of our college. All facilities are at a decent level. The quality of food is good in both the mess and the canteen. Medical facilities are also available. Some sports and games are organized on campus. A skill lab is provided for indoor games, and medical staff support is available with 24/7 ambulance service.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They provide a very good level of teaching. The course is very relevant for the future and prepares us for upcoming challenges, and we will be more secure if we also learn some coding like Java or Python. Exams are of moderate level in our college and are manageable. Around 98% of students pass our exams by studying the day before the exam.
Other: Electrical placement percentage is overall good in our college. The college helps in the overall development of a student as a person. Everything is well managed in the college. Two events, Kalarva and Utsaha, are conducted, the campus crowd is decent, connectivity with other colleges is good, and the surroundings are very green. Scholarships are available for KCET students, and many clubs are present for other activities. I think they should hire good teachers in the Electrical department, similar to the quality of teachers in CSE.

Four stages of college life in BMSIT.
Placements: In my college, in the CSE department, 75% of students are placed recently in the year 2025. The highest CTC is 33 LPA and the lowest CTC is 3.5 LPA, with an average package of 9.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Dell, Amazon, Accenture, and many more. A total of 1,303 internship offers are made. There are many roles offered, such as group leader, software developer, or technical expert.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi in our college is of decent speed. There are labs for every department, such as Engineering, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and many more. Classrooms are well spaced, and the library is also well maintained. All facilities are at a decent level. The quality of food is good in both the mess and the canteen. Medical facilities are also available. Some sports and games are provided on our campus. A skill lab is there for indoor games, such as chess, table tennis, and carrom. A 24/7 hospital service is also available in my college, with an ambulance on campus for emergencies.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. They have completed Ph.D. in their respective courses. I would suggest that the Maths teachers of this college are at a superb level because of their teaching style. This course helps in the future to get a decent package. The semester exams are very easy compared to the mid-semester exams. Students can easily score above 8+ SGPA, with around 95–96% passing in a class of 70 students.
Other: CSE placement percentage is very good in our college. They help in the overall development of a person. Everything is perfect in our college. Two events are held, Kalarva and Utsaha. The campus crowd is of a decent level, and connectivity with other colleges is good. The surroundings are very green. Scholarships are available for KCET students, and many clubs are there for other activities. I think they should reduce the 85% attendance rule to around 65–70%, as classes are very hectic to attend every day.

Life at my college, BMSIT.
Placements: I think in my college, around 75–80% of students get placed every year in the CSE branch. The highest package is around 32 LPA, the lowest is 3–4 LPA, and the average is 8–9 LPA. The top recruiting companies visiting my college are Rapid, Microsoft, EatClub, Wipro, TCS, and many more. Around 1,200 internship offers are made by the companies visiting our college, with a stipend of Rs. 50,000–1 lakh. Top roles include Software Developer, Technical Team Leader, and many more roles based on the depth of knowledge.
Infrastructure: In my college, all classrooms have CCTV installed, as well as 5–6 fans, and classes are spacious enough. Wi-Fi is available everywhere in my college with a decent speed of around 50 Mbps. The library is situated in the BSN block of my college and has a good collection of books. Labs are also available in the BSN block for Physics and Chemistry. Hostel facilities are very decent, with a gym, and the food quality is good in both the mess and canteen, with proper hygiene. There is an ambulance for health services and a skill lab for indoor games.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, especially our Maths teachers. They are very knowledgeable and explain everything in depth. They are qualified with Ph.D. degrees, and some of them are HODs of their courses. The course is relevant to the future of coding and will be highly valuable in the coming days. Students studying here for four years get a better understanding of all fields. Semester exams are very easy compared to internal tests, and around 60 students pass in a class of 70. You can score 8+ SGPA every semester with decent effort, without requiring much depth.
Other: I chose this course in this college because it is ranked among the top 5 colleges in the COMEDK category. My course, CSE, is in high demand, which is why I chose it, along with my interest in the coding sector. The best aspects of my course are that it includes coding, electrical knowledge, as well as English-speaking related subjects. I think the frequency of classes should be reduced in my course, CSE, as they are very hectic and theory classes are often boring. Events in my college are of two types, Kalarva and Utsaha Vaibhav, attracting a huge campus crowd.

Satisfied with academics, and placements are good.
Placements: Around 85-90% of students got placed in 2024. The highest package is 46.4 LPA. The lowest salary is 3 LPA. The average salary is 7 LPA to 8 LPA. Companies like TCS and Infosys visit. 600 students get paid internships with stipends ranging from Rs 13,000 to Rs 60,000 per month. Many companies visit our college.
Infrastructure: There are three blocks on the college campus. Includes lab, academic, and BSN. The full college and hostels have Wi-Fi. There is an adequate amount of infrastructure for every course. But the number of hostels is not adequate. Few students get the hostel. Girls' hostels are not there. Only boys' hostels are available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, except for one or two, which you find everywhere. I don't think that the course curriculum is very aligned with industry standards, but this is the story of all the colleges in India, except a few. Semester exams are a little bit easy. You can easily get above 8 CGPA if you study just one week before the exam.
Other: It is a good college. Neither too good nor too bad. There are better options you should consider. If your rank is not too high. You can take this college.
