CGC Landran Course Admissions 2025: Fees, Eligibility, Dates & Selection Process

CGC Landran offers a three-year degree programme of BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration. The hospitality course lasts for three years with an affiliation from National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT). The BSc curriculum includes additinal subjectsn of Food & Beverage Controls, Catering, Human Resource & General Management, Tourism etc. Admission is based on candidates performance in the last qualifying exam. Candidates must have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (best of 5 subjects) for General and OBC categories (and 40% marks for SC, ST, and PwD candidates).

CGC Landran offers a three-year full-time BCom course at the undergraduate level in affiliation with I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University. The BCom  course is divided into six semesters and covers subjects in the field of commerce. To be eligible for the BCom programme at CGC Landran, students should have completed Class 12 in any stream with at least 45% aggregate, and the selection criteria are merit-based. This programme is offered through Chandigarh College of Technology.

CGC Landran offers nine specialisations under its BSc course including Non-Medical, Graphics and Web Designing, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, and Hospitality & Hotel Administration, among others. The college offers one honors degree in  Nutrition & Dietetics. The non-medical consists of  Biotechnology and  Micro Biology. Admission to all the BSc specialisations is merit-based. The common eligibility is Class 12 with 50% aggregate.

Apart from JEE Main. CGC Landran offers admissions to BTech courses based on PTU BTech. As per cutoff 2022, the closing rank for BTech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is 236 after Round 2 Seat Allotment. In 2022, PTU BTech was released for four specialisations. The closing rank ranged between 236 and 1291 for the General All India category. CGC Landran admission to the BPharma course is based on PTU BPharma. The closing ranks for the BPharma course is released round-wise and category-wise. Candidates seeking admission to BPharma at the college must have valid PTU BPharma scores to be eligible for the admissions. As per CGC Landran cutoff 2022, the closing rank for Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) stood at 451 and in 2021 at 405 for the General category All India Quota. On analysing the last two year cutoffs, candidates must note that the BPharma course has witnessed an increase in cutoff trend. CGC Landran doesn't offers any seat reservation for the M.Tech cousre. The seats are offfered as per the merit and seat intake of the course.  Candidates must have a valid qualification, i.e., BTech with 50% aggregate (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination. 

The various components included in the fee structure of BPharm at CGC Landra include are tuition fees, caution deposits, hostel, mess charges, etc. The fee payment has to be done at the time of admission and then semester-wise. Find below the BPharm fee structure:

 CGC Landran BPharm course tuition fee range from INR 3.5 Lacs - INR 4.9 lakh. Candidates must make the fee payment to finalise their BPharma seats. The fee has components, such as tuition fees, caution deposits, hostel, mess charges, etc. The fee payment has to be done at the time of admission and then semester-wise. 

A pass in Class 12 examination conducted by the respective state/ central government authorities recognised as equivalent to Class 12 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology as optional subjects individually is required to apply for BPharm course. Additionally, admission to BPharm course is based on merit in the last qualifying exam and PTU Counselling.  As soon as the selection rounds are over, candidates need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the college. 

To apply for CGC Landran admission, you have the option of both online and offline modes. For online application, visit the CGC website, click 'Apply Now, ' register, complete the application form, upload necessary documents, and transfer the 'Prospectus' and 'College Fee' through the designated payment method. For walk-in admissions, visit the campus, obtain an admission form, fill it out, submit original documents, provide five passport-size photographs, and pay the application fee. Required documents include scanned photographs and signatures, along with your Class 12 marksheet.

The eligibility criteria for Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran BSc Biotechnology is as follows: 

• Candidates must have completed Class 12 examination with Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects and either Mathematics or Biology as one of the additional subject, from by a recognised Board / University / Council with at least 50% aggregate and 45% aggregate in case of candidate belonging to Reserved Category. 
  OR
• Candidates must  have passed Matriculation examination and have also passed three year Diploma in any Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or such Examination from any other recognised State Board of Technical Education, or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal.

Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran offers one BSc honors degree in Nutrition & Dietetics. The four-year course is spread across eight semesters. Fins below the eligibility criteria for the BSc (Hons): 

• Students who have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology from any recognised board are eligible to get admission in BSc Nutrition & Dietetics at CGC, Landran.
• Students of agriculture or home Science who have passed with minimum 50% marks in aggregate are eligible.
