Review of Chennai Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placement in our college is very good, and every student can get a job with an average package of 10 LPA. Also, they placed 95% last year, and they signed documents with international job opportunities such as Japan, Taiwan, and so on.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent, and our management is trying to build the last infrastructure within one year. We have enough activities such as sports, libraries, labs, classrooms, hostels, and everything is sufficient, and there are no conjunction or space difficulties.
Faculty: The teachers were so helpful and knowledgeable, and they are 100 percentage qualified and trusted teachers. Students are not facing any difficulties while preparing for semester exams. The management trained them before the exam, and they really perform very well.
Other: Takshashila is our cultural name, and it will be a super duper event.

Very good placements and higher studies opportunities with well-equipped labs and facilities.
Placements: The placements for both core and software are very good. The college also starts training us for placements in the early semesters itself. They train us based on our preferences and interests. The placement training they provide is what helps us to crack the interviews.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good for the crowd it holds, and the labs and the research facilities are also well-equipped with industry-trained professionals guiding us. The hostel facilities are also good, helping the students with a very good environment away from their homes.
Faculty: Faculty members and other staff are very supportive throughout our college journey. They guide us in all aspects of academics and help us pursue our interests. The faculty members are very well-trained, and they also have many years of teaching experience, which makes them better at guiding and teaching the students.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Business System - Batch of 2029
3.2
Good placements, but too much pressure like school.
Placements: The highest package offered in my college is 63 LPA, and the lowest package is Rs. 30,000 per month. The top recruiting companies at Chennai Institute of Technology are Microsoft and Amazon. The average package everyone received is 10 LPA. Most of the students, about 80-90 percent, got internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is so bad when everyone is connected to it, but it supports up to 300 Mbps if 4-5 people are connected to the outer, which is above average. Classrooms are worse, and the benches are even worse. I got a bad posture because of the steel benches. Medical facilities and sports are also available, but colleges' interest in sports is low.
Faculty: The teachers are worse, they don't have much knowledge as 4 in 6 teachers are worse for my course. For other courses, I don't know the semester exams are pretty average. If you study the materials that are given by the faculty members, you will score 80-90 percent in the semester.
Other: I chose this course (CSBS) because I can get good exposure in both finance and technical skills, which I can use to improve myself.

Good learning experience with practical exposure and active campus life.
Placements: I have felt that 5 ratings are not enough to give for our college placements. They give vast opportunities from the 2nd year itself from hackathons to daily training programs. They guide us and help us to secure a good position in an MNC with good packages. I have been placed in the HCL company which was not my domain but I have a great knowledge in the IT field also so what I'm coming to say is we have learned interdisciplinary fields to enrich our knowledge.
Infrastructure: Our department has good infrastructure, such as smart boards, projectors, and Wi-Fi facilities, so that we can learn freely and peacefully. We also have separate labs for each subject like medical instrumentation, Biopac, microprocessor, and anatomy. The hostel facilities are good and they provide a variety of meals regularly. The campus also provides facilities for sports and games such as indoor and outdoor courts encouraging students to stay physically active and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Faculty: The faculty members in our department are helpful, supportive, and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. Most of the professors are well-qualified and have more than 2 years of experience in teaching their skills. The curriculum is relevant to our field and it includes both theoretical and practical sessions. The semesters are moderately difficult. The students who can attend the classes regularly and prepare well from the syllabus can manage the exam without fear and difficulty. The pass percentage is quite good and most of the students will leave the college with good internal and CGPA.
Other: The infrastructure, library resources and academic support help students gain a strong foundation in the field. The learning experiences justify the course fee to a good extent. The campus environment is friendly and we can study together and discuss after college ends. Our college conducts a national-level technical symposium and a cultural fest called Takshashila for 3 days. These activities help the students to relax and also develop leadership skills.

It is one of the best colleges in Tamil Nadu with top rankings and placements.
Placements: The college provides good placement opportunities. Many foreign and reputed companies visit our campus frequently. The placement cell (CDC) conducts training programs and mock interviews to help us prepare for recruitment and placement interviews.
Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure with advanced labs. Classrooms are spacious and fully air-conditioned. There is a high-speed internet connection across the campus. There are four individual nine-floor AC hostels with all amenities. A medical centre is also available inside the college.
Faculty: Faculty members in my department are very friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable. Most professors have good teaching experience. Semester exams are moderate and easy to pass. The curriculum is relevant and includes subjects that help students gain industry knowledge and technical skills. The course focuses mainly on practical learning.

Overall decent placements for the 2026 batch.
Placements: The top recruiting companies in the core domain are Drager, Stryker, Zifo, HCL Tech, Panacea, Omega Healthcare, XElements, etc., and IT companies like Capgemini, Accenture, etc., with a maximum CTC of 9.2 LPA to a minimum CTC of 4 LPA. About all eligible students got placed. Many have undergone summer Internships at IITs, NITs, and IIITs.
Infrastructure: Course infrastructure is decent, with lab facilities for each subject course. The library has the best books for GATE preparation and subject references. Classrooms follow the smart board teaching methodology. Hands-on training in medical devices is provided for all students.
Faculty: Highly skilled staff with good research domain knowledge help with projects and provide the best teaching. Semester exams are easy to moderately difficult with good preparation. Preparatory classes are mandatory for all students. The course curriculum is updated to match the skills needed for placements.
Other: More RnD roles can be provided here during placements. Students must be ready to relocate for jobs in best salaries. Student stress management issues can be rectified more efficiently.

It has an amazing staff and people, and a good placement in our 2026 batch.
Placements: In our college, placements are very good. My department is biomedical, but they provide training on the software side, including coding, which increases our quality.
Infrastructure: They have a good infrastructure in our college. The food is available all the time in the canteen. The mess food is very nice, which suits all students. Our classrooms are very interactive and creative. In labs, all the equipment is available.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-experienced in their specific domain and help us in projects and also in academics. Curriculum is based on the input given by the alumni and industry persons. So the curriculum here will have a strong foundation related to industry. Our staff is very nice, taking excellent care of students. They help very well for our future.
Other: Apart from the academics, our college provides various extracurricular activities to improve our communication, confidence level, and team management.

Positive learning atmosphere with good placements and technical exposure.
Placements: I am a second-year student, and I have had opportunities to attend interviews and assessments for CTS, Malaysia Internship, etc. Particularly, my department, CSE (AIML), has wide opportunities in many roles such as Software Developer, AI Developer, Data Analyst, etc. They conduct weekly coding assessments and regular placement training. I have seen companies such as Microsoft, NammaYatri, ServiceNow, Zoho, etc. They offer packages starting from 20 LPA to 60 LPA.
Infrastructure: For me, one of the best things is the Centers of Excellence (COE), such as the AI Lab, Fintech Lab, Robotics Lab (Also known as KUKA), etc. I personally love the KUKA, and we got to interact with many industry professionals during our time in COE. There are over 10 COEs, and it helps us build real-world projects along with academics. The environment is really safe and comfortable for us.
Faculty: The faculty members are supportive and approachable. They not only focus on completing the syllabus but also encourage students to understand the concepts practically. Many classes include presentations, practical sessions, and project-based learning. Internal assessments are conducted regularly before the semester exams, which helps students stay consistent with their studies and prepare well for the end-semester.
Other: What I personally like most about CIT is the exposure it provides to students. They encourage us to explore different domains and choose the career path we are interested in. We had the opportunity to participate in and win in many national hackathons, such as AWS Impact Challenge from IIT Bombay, Bharat Hackathon, and Smart India Hackathon.
