Chennai Institute of Technology has many scholarships to support students. The scholarship is given on different basis like grades, financial need, and other qualifications. Some common types of CIT Chennai scholarships:
- JEE Merit Scholarships: Students who achieve high scores or ranks in the JEE exam may be eligible for merit-based scholarships. These scholarships reward academic excellence and can significantly reduce the financial burden on students.
- Merit-based Scholarships: Awarded to students based on their academic performance. High-achieving students with excellent grades may qualify for these scholarships.
- Cut-Off Marks: First-year students admitted through Single Window counseling who achieve the highest cut-off in each program will receive a tuition fee waiver for the first year, provided they meet a minimum cut-off of 190 out of 200. The number of scholarships available in each program corresponds to the number of divisions, with one scholarship awarded per division.
