Review of Chennai Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placement in our college is very good, and every student can get a job with an average package of 10 LPA. Also, they placed 95% last year, and they signed documents with international job opportunities such as Japan, Taiwan, and so on.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent, and our management is trying to build the last infrastructure within one year. We have enough activities such as sports, libraries, labs, classrooms, hostels, and everything is sufficient, and there are no conjunction or space difficulties.
Faculty: The teachers were so helpful and knowledgeable, and they are 100 percentage qualified and trusted teachers. Students are not facing any difficulties while preparing for semester exams. The management trained them before the exam, and they really perform very well.
Other: Takshashila is our cultural name, and it will be a super duper event.

Very good placements and higher studies opportunities with well-equipped labs and facilities.
Placements: The placements for both core and software are very good. The college also starts training us for placements in the early semesters itself. They train us based on our preferences and interests. The placement training they provide is what helps us to crack the interviews.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good for the crowd it holds, and the labs and the research facilities are also well-equipped with industry-trained professionals guiding us. The hostel facilities are also good, helping the students with a very good environment away from their homes.
Faculty: Faculty members and other staff are very supportive throughout our college journey. They guide us in all aspects of academics and help us pursue our interests. The faculty members are very well-trained, and they also have many years of teaching experience, which makes them better at guiding and teaching the students.

Good placements, but too much pressure like school.
Placements: The highest package offered in my college is 63 LPA, and the lowest package is Rs. 30,000 per month. The top recruiting companies at Chennai Institute of Technology are Microsoft and Amazon. The average package everyone received is 10 LPA. Most of the students, about 80-90 percent, got internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is so bad when everyone is connected to it, but it supports up to 300 Mbps if 4-5 people are connected to the outer, which is above average. Classrooms are worse, and the benches are even worse. I got a bad posture because of the steel benches. Medical facilities and sports are also available, but colleges' interest in sports is low.
Faculty: The teachers are worse, they don't have much knowledge as 4 in 6 teachers are worse for my course. For other courses, I don't know the semester exams are pretty average. If you study the materials that are given by the faculty members, you will score 80-90 percent in the semester.
Other: I chose this course (CSBS) because I can get good exposure in both finance and technical skills, which I can use to improve myself.

Good learning experience with practical exposure and active campus life.
Placements: I have felt that 5 ratings are not enough to give for our college placements. They give vast opportunities from the 2nd year itself from hackathons to daily training programs. They guide us and help us to secure a good position in an MNC with good packages. I have been placed in the HCL company which was not my domain but I have a great knowledge in the IT field also so what I'm coming to say is we have learned interdisciplinary fields to enrich our knowledge.
Infrastructure: Our department has good infrastructure, such as smart boards, projectors, and Wi-Fi facilities, so that we can learn freely and peacefully. We also have separate labs for each subject like medical instrumentation, Biopac, microprocessor, and anatomy. The hostel facilities are good and they provide a variety of meals regularly. The campus also provides facilities for sports and games such as indoor and outdoor courts encouraging students to stay physically active and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Faculty: The faculty members in our department are helpful, supportive, and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. Most of the professors are well-qualified and have more than 2 years of experience in teaching their skills. The curriculum is relevant to our field and it includes both theoretical and practical sessions. The semesters are moderately difficult. The students who can attend the classes regularly and prepare well from the syllabus can manage the exam without fear and difficulty. The pass percentage is quite good and most of the students will leave the college with good internal and CGPA.
Other: The infrastructure, library resources and academic support help students gain a strong foundation in the field. The learning experiences justify the course fee to a good extent. The campus environment is friendly and we can study together and discuss after college ends. Our college conducts a national-level technical symposium and a cultural fest called Takshashila for 3 days. These activities help the students to relax and also develop leadership skills.

It is one of the best colleges in Tamil Nadu with top rankings and placements.
Placements: The college provides good placement opportunities. Many foreign and reputed companies visit our campus frequently. The placement cell (CDC) conducts training programs and mock interviews to help us prepare for recruitment and placement interviews.
Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure with advanced labs. Classrooms are spacious and fully air-conditioned. There is a high-speed internet connection across the campus. There are four individual nine-floor AC hostels with all amenities. A medical centre is also available inside the college.
Faculty: Faculty members in my department are very friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable. Most professors have good teaching experience. Semester exams are moderate and easy to pass. The curriculum is relevant and includes subjects that help students gain industry knowledge and technical skills. The course focuses mainly on practical learning.

It is a versatile college, but the management should be improved.
Placements: Our college starts giving placement training in the 3rd year, and companies approach in the 6th semester. Around 20 students out of 100 are placed from the Mechanical Engineering course in different companies. The highest package offered is 22 LPA. The lowest package offered is 4 LPA. The top recruiting company of my department is British Petroleum. The average package offered is 5 LPA in my department. Around 80% of students secure internships, and they are allowed to do so. For non-tech-based internships, the college is silent about them and won't provide access to attend.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very average. Many labs are available. The minimum academic buildings are present. The hostel facility is below par for scholarship students and high-class for management quota students. The mess is average. Sports and games infrastructure is very poor.
Faculty: The course curriculum is updated every year, and this is a positive thing about the college. Many non-academic activities are rewarded, and OD are awarded for relevant activities. Semester exams are very difficult sometimes and very easy at other times. Exams are easy to pass but tough to score high grades.
Other: The student management is very poor. There is no democracy and only autocracy. They think they own students and misuse power in so many places, which should be improved.
