CIT has hostels for men and women, located within the campus. The hostels with well-furnished rooms provide an ideal ambience to make residents feel at home. The hostels have wired internet connectivity. The Men’s hostel is a multi-storied building. The hostel includes indoor sporting facilities and a common room on the ground floor. Residents can use the Chennai Institute of Technology boarding facilities.
The hostel facilities are designed to provide a comfortable, secure and welcoming environment. There is 24/7 surveillance and round-the-clock security.
CIT also has a Bank branch and an ATM counter on the campus. It is on the first floor of the main building. Students can easily open an account by fulfilling the bank's common requirements. CIT provides primary health facilities to students. The students also have access to the hospital housed on the same campus.
Chennai Institute of Technology Library
The central library of the institute is equipped with quality books, journals and magazines at the national and international level. The Chennai Institute of Technology department has many sections, such as the digital library, reference section, issue section and reading room.
CIT has a stock of over 15000 books and study materials, offering comprehensive material for students and faculty. Apart from books, periodicals, journals, etc, an air-conditioned digital library with multimedia material is also available. The library is well protected with fire alarms and CCTV Security systems.

Infrastructure: Hostel isn't that comfortable, but it has all the necessary things like shops inside the campus. There will be no internet connectivity inside the hostel whatsoever. Food quality is average, and there's a playground for basketball and football. There are multiple food courts near the ground.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is good. Wi-Fi connection and food in the hostel are good, and rooms are cozy. They use smart boards, which are like a touch TV, where they used to teach us, instead of old blackboards, which make us understand and learn things practically.
Infrastructure: We have separate department classrooms for all years. We also have labs for practicals every year. Everything in our hostel is good. We even have AC for rooms and a good water facility. Mess food is also good. There is availability of playground for sport activities.
Infrastructure: Especially for the mechanical engineering department, there are many labs and centers of excellence present inside our college which makes it very easy for us to learn everything practically. Infrastructure: Labs and computers are well-equipped and fully functional. Most of the classrooms are now updated to smart classrooms with full air-conditioning. Wi-Fi facilities are also available throughout the campus. Bus routes are available for dayscholars with the majority of the buses being air-conditioned.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good, with neat classrooms and labs equipped with Wi-Fi and other smart facilities. The hostel rooms are quite comfortable and well-maintained. The mess food is quite decent but a bit repetitive.
Infrastructure: The college offers a good hostel environment with a 24/7 water supply and air-conditioned rooms. The wardens are present 24/7 to provide security. A hospital facility is available for any medical emergency. There is a lot of greenery on campus which freshens the mind. Special coaching is provided to the hostelers.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure on our campus is quite good. They provide 200 MB per second of Wi-Fi, and the faculty is knowledgeable and supportive. The hostel offers decent food with a varied menu in the canteen, and there are medical facilities available as well. Additionally, the campus encourages participation in extracurricular activities.
Infrastructure: For facilities in CIT, I would rate 4. Overall, classrooms are good. It provides AC labs, 24-hour Wi-Fi all around the campus, and a library for easy access. The hostel is good and the food is okay. 24-hour medical support is also available with an emergency ambulance.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good hostel facilities but I am disappointed with the food. I personally did not like the food other than that everything is fine. Our college provides Wi-Fi, a gym, labs, classrooms, games and a library. The only concern is with food and it is better to have homemade pickles instead.

We have 24-hour Wi-Fi facilities in both the campus and the hostel. Faculty members in the hostel are very friendly. If we are facing any issue, it will be resolved as soon as possible.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and Wi-Fi are bad for main campus. Hostel alone is excellent. Wi-Fi is trash. Classrooms are average, similar to those in schools. Not many sports facilities are available. The quality of the food is not the best, it's just average, and not all food options are available.
