Chennai Institute of Technology Hostel and Residential Facilities

CIT has hostels for men and women, located within the campus. The hostels with well-furnished rooms provide an ideal ambience to make residents feel at home. The hostels have wired internet connectivity. The Men’s hostel is a multi-storied building. The hostel includes indoor sporting facilities and a common room on the ground floor. Residents can use the Chennai Institute of Technology boarding facilities.

The hostel facilities are designed to provide a comfortable, secure and welcoming environment. There is 24/7 surveillance and round-the-clock security. 

CIT also has a Bank branch and an ATM counter on the campus. It is on the first floor of the main building. Students can easily open an account by fulfilling the bank's common requirements. CIT provides primary health facilities to students. The students also have access to the hospital housed on the same campus.

Chennai Institute of Technology Library

The central library of the institute is equipped with quality books, journals and magazines at the national and international level. The Chennai Institute of Technology department has many sections, such as the digital library, reference section, issue section and reading room. 

CIT has a stock of over 15000 books and study materials, offering comprehensive material for students and faculty. Apart from books, periodicals, journals, etc, an air-conditioned digital library with multimedia material is also available. The library is well protected with fire alarms and CCTV Security systems.

CIT provides various social activity options to its students, thus making the learning process more enjoyable. For this purpose, the Young Entrepreneurs Club, the Public Speaking Club and the Creative Club have been set up.

Chennai Institute of Technology Sports Facilities

The College provides ample facilities for the students to participate in sports and games in College, University, District, State and National level competitions. The College also organises various sports and games on our campus. Outdoor and indoor games facilities available on the campus are effectively used by the students during and after college hours.
