Good placements, guidance is provided, developing campus and infrastructure.
Placements: Placements at our college have been growing better and bigger. After a year students secure offers right from their 3rd year. Top recruiters include Microsoft, Zoho, AT&T, Autodesk, ServiceNow, etc. Students also receive offers through COEs which they have enrolled in along with internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: Labs and computers are well-equipped and fully functional. Most of the classrooms are now updated to smart classrooms with full air-conditioning. Wi-Fi facilities are also available throughout the campus. Bus routes are available for dayscholars with the majority of the buses being air-conditioned.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and motivating, helping students and guiding them for competitions, hackathons, internships, and various opportunities. During UPC (University Preparation Classes) the entire syllabus is covered and students who are not present during the whole semester can also catch up with the syllabus and score well.
Other: Students are exposed to distinct competitions, hackathons, and coding platforms right from the first year providing a clear idea for their progress. N-number of tech and non-tech events take place throughout college life to upscale ourselves and to bring out our talents.

There are really good placements for all students.
Placements: In CIT, there is a high guarantee of getting placements. The institute mainly focuses on every student to get placed in a company. In our college, many students got placed in top companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. The highest package offered was 52 LPA in 2024.
Infrastructure: For facilities in CIT, I would rate 4. Overall, classrooms are good. It provides AC labs, 24-hour Wi-Fi all around the campus, and a library for easy access. The hostel is good and the food is okay. 24-hour medical support is also available with an emergency ambulance.
Faculty: Teachers as well as seniors are too close. They are ready to help our minds. There are well-qualified staff members and each student has a mentor. The subject and the courses we chose are so helpful to improve our skills. Chennai Institute of Technology concentrates on students to get placed in their 2nd year itself which is a great plus point. Special preparation for exams is also provided by them, especially for the GATE exam.
Other: I am currently pursuing my B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering 1st year and I am from the 2024-2028 batch. CIT also focuses on extracurricular activities such as sports, music, etc. Each sector has separate clubs and grounds.

It provides good placement opportunities.
Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed. The highest package is 52 LPA and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. Independent of department everyone has good placement opportunities. To get placed we should not have any backlogs and should maintain at least a 7 GPA and have good communication skills.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good hostel facilities but I am disappointed with the food. I personally did not like the food other than that everything is fine. Our college provides Wi-Fi, a gym, labs, classrooms, games and a library. The only concern is with food and it is better to have homemade pickles instead.
Faculty: My favorite part is placement training. We will be trained and guided with the latest technologies. Staff members are very friendly. We can feel free to reach them and speak out whatever it may be. Semester exams are not very difficult, and they will be habituated as time moves.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty and good placements.
Placements: When it comes to landing a job, our college has our back. They make sure we're prepared for the real world by offering special training in areas like full-stack, Android app development and many more domains. But what sets them apart is their unwavering support. They believe in us and never let us give up on our dreams. Even if we already have a job offer, they encourage us to aim higher and keep trying until we find the perfect fit. It's the dedication to our success that makes our college stand out from the rest.
Infrastructure: It has all the infrastructure to support you in your academics. It also has a playground to play on and two canteens where you can find some good food to enjoy with friends and gangs. Campus may not be so small nor so large. I also expected the same in the hostel, as I am a day scholar. I don't know much but don't expect much from the hostel's food, as that's the reality.
Faculty: While the 6 hours might be long, we are always busy with projects and hands-on activities. The best part, though, is that we have access to cool resources like library and the IoT Lab, where we can put our skills to test and learn by doing. And if we ever need help, the staffs is super supportive and willing to guide us through whatever we're interested in.

Best placements and a good college.
Placements: There were a total of 93.25% of students placed overall. The highest salary package was 51 LPA achieved by 4 students, the average salary package was above 8 LPA and the lowest salary package was 6 LPA. There are many students who got internships for 1 LPA.
Infrastructure: There were many facilities, like centers of excellence (total of 15), that were also well maintained and used by the students. The Wi-Fi speed was excellent. The quality of the hostel was good. The food at the hostel was okay, with a different menu. There were many canteens and places to visit inside the campus. Also, there was a gym.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful and many of them had qualified doctorates. Their teaching was very knowledgeable, making the students ready for industry. The semester exams are not that difficult because the teachers were doing their best to train the students up until 6 pm.
Other: The college was very much fun and the college life was very good.
